Lazy Daisy Cafe — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Large portions (big enough to share with two people) and perfectly cooked, delicious food! We got the “Eggs and Sam” to share which is pesto scrambled egg with salmon on the side and lots of extras (roasted potatoes, fresh fruit, choice of toast). My partner and I ordered this with two coffee drinks and a green smoothie and both left very full and satisfied. The wild salmon was JUICY and tender - wayyy better cooked than expected for a casual cafe! The roasted potatoes were also crispy and the green smoothie was also thick, freshly made, and delicious. We also ordered a vanilla latte and a cappuccino - I am more picky about coffee, but to my taste the espresso drinks were lacking in flavor and consistency. The milk foam on the latte was decent but the foam on the cappuccino was chunky with large bubbles and definitely not the silky microfoam texture it is supposed to be. But all in all, the quality breakfast was worth it and I should probably not compare the coffee to a dedicated coffee shop. Lovely place with laid back atmosphere. Serveware is white stone paired with colorful water cups (fresh slice of lemon in each) which makes for a very pretty table. The 16 oz coffee cups are big, wide, and heavy and the barista makes great foam. The portion sizes are huge... Unless you want a doggy bag i suggest you buy one dish and share. Acai bowl was frozen... Not what I'm used to, but i should have asked beforehand. More like ice cream than breakfast. All fresh fruit looked fresh and tasted great. Service was pleasant -- friendly and they checked up on us and what we may need at they served the food. We went after Thanksgiving... There is no Holiday atmosphere whatsoever... Don't know if that will still be put up. The music was 80s music which is very cool - love the 80s music... But Holiday (pop) music would have been greatly...

Never been here. Search based on google star. Food presentation is good. I had the salmon, spinach omelet with potatoes and fruits. Potatoes was okay. Not sure what it is.., taste kinda funky. Not burn taste just weird, seem like doesn't clean it well. I didnt end up finished. The omelet & toast was great. Not over the top. Service was nice. Friendly and they paid attention to us.
