There is a new chef in town! LPQ MDR has been a go-to for me for awhile, but recently, they have hired a new chef and the food tastes delicious and looks incredible. You can't go wrong with the mushroom and goat cheese omelet, smoked salmon omelet, chia seed pudding (with or without compote), oatmeal, avocado toast, any of the flatbreads or any of the baked goods/pastries. The service is always excellent and the team here is like family. During my last visit, David was hospitable and warmly greeted me upon entrance; David is a warm, wonderful person. Carlos was our extraordinary server; Carlos goes out of his way to ensure the food and service are to your satisfaction. Bassam, who has been a manager for years, is welcoming and exhibits great team leadership; it appears that he not only leads but is also part of the team working to ensure smooth bakery and restaurant operations. Cynthia is professional and courteous each time she answers the phone or responds to a request. Finally, Sharday is friendly, warm and welcoming, and it is always a delight to see and chat with Sharday. I highly recommend this LPQ!

I’ve been here 3 times. The first time I was impressed with the food and the service. It was busy and our food came at a good time and it tasted good. Our server was friend but definitely busy. I left and recommended it to all my friends! The next two times, the restaurant was not as busy, we got coffee and croissants. The service wasn’t good and the croissants were stale both times. We asked to get them warmed up, because I didn’t mind but at least if they were warmed up they wouldn’t be as stale and the server seemed really annoyed by this request. I like the atmosphere so I really want to give this place another try, but I don’t know if I will. I’d recommend but also say to be aware that the service is sometimes good sometimes bad.

Came for Breakfast staying at Hotel MDR. The food was wonderful, but what really made the meal was the service. The servers were excellent, attentive helpful and overall made for a nice experience. We had one hiccup where my DH ordered an item that he hadn't foreseen containing an allergen (totally our error). He spotted it before even starting on the item, (thankfully!). The staff were very conscientious (the manager came to check my husband was okay) and in addition to taking the item off our bill (as I say, I think it was our bad) he also brought a pastry to have while waiting for a replacement item to be prepared. Absolutely went the extra mile. If I were in the area again, I would be back to this little gem!

Le Pain Quotidien opens at 6:30 am, which is great, but sadly closes at about 6:30 pm. The place is great, and I could make a fine dinner from their regular menu.

It is located in a large strip mall and parking is very easy to find. It is not just a bakery, it is also a wonderful place for breakfast or lunch. They have a very good selection on their menu and all of their food is good. Their coffee is great and they have tea as well.

Many of the ingredients are locally sourced and always fresh. A vegetarian or vegan can find a nice selection here.

I love how cute the place is. They have tables for just a few and community tables which are great when it gets crowded. You can order all your baked goods from the counter or sit and dine with the help of a server. They also have outdoor dinning.

We love all their food. Their TOASTED HAM & GRUYÈRE CROISSANT is great, but not my favorite. I question whether they make them there. Their DUTCH MINI-PANCAKES are also good, but the pancakes are just too mini for me. What we love is their EGG, CHEDDAR & AVOCADO BREAKFAST SANDWICH, which is served with pepper jam, tomatoes and a fantastic salad. Their MEDITERRANEAN CAESAR is the best and it is served with chicken. It is just wow great. The PROSCIUTTO & MANCHEGO sandwich served on a great roll is also wonderful.

Their breads are great. Now they don't have a huge selection, but what they have is wonderful.

The service is very nice. You will...

Petite portions with a hipster vibe.

I come here often enough as my wife likes this place. She gets the waffle with fruit on top. Its a very small portion for a dude like me but if you want a light snack in the form of breakfast... this place is for you.

We came here on Sunday my wife got her waffle. I had a look at the menu, seemed that they took some things off. I enquired about the skillet eggs but the server said it was just a couple of eggs served in a pan with a side of bread. I ended up getting oatmeal.

For some baked goods or a very light/ healthy breakfast this place seems like the place to go.

The place gets packed and we generally sit outside. A lot of people bring their dogs, some of which can be very yappy. On one occasion someone dog puked under their table. No one cleaned it up instead one of the staff members poured hot water on it which made the whole place smell like dog puke.

The bread and the baked goods are nice....
