Honestly, I used to love this place, but as I’ve experienced the same situation the past 3 or 4 times I’ve been, I have to leave a review at least to try to help or bring light to the reputation they have in my mind and many of my friends that I try meeting there as well.
Let me start off with this: I really don’t care about the money I spent on my drinks in the past, so that’s not why I am leaving a review. I’m leaving a review to hopefully help you solve the problem I’ve had with Little Ripper. I used to work in coffee, so I get that grumpy customers and so called “Karen’s” don’t solve anything and can actually fuel a bad attitude by a barista/team.
I had ordered my coffee online around 10:25. I live down the street & was on my way somewhere that I had to be at 11. I get that on a busy day, you can’t get your coffee in the hopeful 5 minutes you imagine. This time though, it took 25 mins to even get my coffee. I ordered cold brew. The poor girl running orders and taking walk-up orders was so busy running around that she didn’t get a chance to ask my name until 10 mins into me standing there. I then waited another 5-10 mins before she asked me again what my name was (she hadn’t even given my name to the team yet, I assume). Then it took another 5-10 to get my coffee poured. I got there at 10:30 and didn’t leave until 10:50. A full 25 mins to make a cold brew and have a customer waiting is just atrocious. I understand that there are not many people out there looking for jobs and it may be hard to staff with good employees, but at least come up with a solution to this never-ending dilemma I have with Little Ripper. This has happened so many times and honestly, I won’t be coming back. If you can’t do online orders right, don’t do them at all. It’s such a bummer since I live up the street and love your coffee. I could have stopped anywhere else on the way, but wanted to go to my neighborhood shop. I don’t want a refund, I just want your company to try solving this issue.
This might be a better place to go on a lazy Sunday!...

Having gone back after its renovation I really love the look and aesthetic of the cafe. It’s cozy and well thought out. The design is great. Love the stools and wall trim. Nice to go fridges at the end of the long communal table and plenty of seating both inside and out in the patio.
Still not that impressed with the coffee. The Little Ripper this time around tasted better than previously but lacked much flavor. I chose lavender again but barely there. Also got an ice lavender latte which did have a bit more lavender but it just did not taste all that good. Also tried some light bites. Sourdough toast with house made blueberry jam was delicious though I think a bit pricey for what it is. But it’s even more evident with the Fairy Bread. It’s a single slice of white bread with no crust and some butter and sprinkles. That’s it. I like that it seems like it’s a cultural treat, reminiscent of one’s childhood. But really made for the kids and charging $5 for it seemed too funny.
Overall as much as I love the look and feel the coffee just hasn’t done much to get me to return for a third time.

Original 2023 Review
Small little spot outside of the usual busy areas which is nice. But there’s no inside seating yet and just a few tables outside with a covered area that didn’t seem to be in use by most people for some reason. Was disappointed in their signature latte the Little Ripper. Tasted incredibly watered down I thought I was drinking tea. Would love to try again with one of the other options like the New Orleans chicory base one. But I was let down by this one so it’ll be a while before I head...
Read moreI found this cute little coffee shop a few years ago and really liked it. Then about a year ago I went there and found grounds in my coffee, I told them and they gladly remade it for me but again it had grounds. I tried to give it the benefit of the doubt and went back a few more times but each time I found grounds in my coffee. After that I didn’t go back for a really long time, even though it’s one of the closest coffee shops to my house. There are far better shops that aren’t that far away like Kumquat and Collage. Last week I went back because I was in a hurry and thought SURELY by now, after months and months they would have fixed the problem with their machine. I ordered ahead and was told that my coffee and food would be ready in 15 mins. So I sat outside and waited, and waited and waited. Over 15 mins AFTER the time they told me. Which means it took them over 30 mins to make me 2 iced lattes and a sandwich. They were busy at that time. But never have I had to wait that long at a coffee shop before even at busier shops. They never apologized. AND to top it off you guessed it, the coffee had grounds in it. If it takes you close to a year to fix your coffee machine then you clearly don’t care about coffee and just care about charging $10 for avocado toast. It’s too bad. I really wanted to love this coffee shop and gave it several chances to improve, but...
