The food is not bad but the service was disappointing. We came in and were asked about drinks right away, but we wanted to ask for something else and our server just turned around and left not giving us a chance to order everything we wanted. The menu is not too big, no pictures, I used yelp pictures to choose what I wanted. We waited for 15 minutes ready to order and they would just walk by not stopping or asking if we were ready. The food came and it was nothing special, California roll was dry. I was pretty surprised to find out that they charge for sauces. The most disappointing part was that we weren't asked if we want refills, not even once, everyone at the table had empty cups and 3 waitress walking by didn't notice. This is just a small place in a strip mall, but it was some of the best sushi I've had. Be sure to ask your server for recommendations re which fish to order. Based on what she said, we ordered the halibut sashimi and another one; both were exquisite. The tuna was also wonderful. Everything was good, but my advice would be to skip the rolls and stick with the sushi and sashimi. The fish here is too good to drown in a mish-mash of flavors.
