Real home cooking in this family owned and operated eatery. You can taste the love. And I had the best Caldo de Pollo (Chicken soup) ever. Get past the lack of ambiance and prepare for true comfort food. This soup is chock full of chicken - most on the bone, zucchini, carrots and onions. It came with a side of rice and beans (full of flavor and not spicy), a plate of chopped onions, cilantro and lime wedges for the soup + two warm tortillas (flour or corn). $8.95 for the small bowl which was too much to eat at one sitting - so I took the rest home - better the second day!

Bought the asada wet burrito with salsa roja. It was delicious!!! The salsa was very tasty and not very spicy (that being said, I can handle quite a bit of spice). The burrito came with complimentary chips and salsa. Meat was very tender and had no fat or skin. Beans and rice were cooked to perfection. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Parking is atrocious so try to order ahead and pick up. Restroom is gender inclusive! Space is small and cozy, it is kept clean. Cash, card and mobile pay are all accepted. Can't wait to try their chilaquiles!!!

LUPITAS ….♥️ Is my favorite Mexican restaurant !! Almost every Thursday I bring my mother to have HEVOS RANCHEROS . By far they are the best I’ve had aside to mine . I love their service and kindness . My husband comes for the menudo and or the birria . Over all , LUPITAS is #1 contender when it comes to Mexican food . 👍♥️

Absolutely delicious pollo con mole. Best I have had. The chilaquiles were okay. The deep fried beef tacos were yum. Their guacamole was chunky and so fresh. Also loved the house salsa. This is not a fresh salsa. It was deep red with a good amount of heat, yet very flavorful. Prices are a bit high, but I did not mind. Will definitely go again. Wish they had beer because a nice modelo negra would have...
