Marty’s Hamburger Stand at 10558 W Pico Blvd in Rancho Park isn’t just a place to eat—it’s a cornerstone of the community, where great food meets even greater people. Every time I visit, I’m reminded of how much heart and dedication goes into making this spot so special.
The employees here truly go above and beyond. They treat every customer with kindness, respect, and a genuine willingness to help. Whether it’s recommending a favorite item on the menu or accommodating special requests, their hospitality is unmatched. You can tell they care deeply about making sure everyone leaves with a smile.
And the food? Simply outstanding. Marty’s is famous for its combo burger, a delicious blend of a perfectly grilled hot dog and burger patty topped with chili and cheese. It’s a flavor explosion that keeps you coming back for more. The fries are crispy, the produce is fresh, and every bite feels like a trip down memory lane. They’ve mastered the art of creating meals that are both comforting and unforgettable.
But what really stands out is the owner’s commitment to the community. Marty’s has been a part of Rancho Park for years, and you can feel the passion in everything they do. The owner doesn’t just run a business—they’ve built a place where locals can come together, share a meal, and feel like part of something bigger. That dedication is why I encourage everyone to stop by and show support.
If you haven’t been to Marty’s, you’re missing out on a piece of Rancho Park’s history. And while the prices are fair for the quality you get, it’s worth mentioning that they’ve been known to look out for the community and lend a helping hand when needed. A little kindness goes a long way, and it’s clear Marty’s understands this better than anyone.
So, whether you’re a regular or visiting for the first time, Marty’s Hamburger Stand is a must-visit. The food is incredible, the people are even better, and the sense of community is something you won’t find anywhere else. Thank you, Marty’s, for being such a vital part of Rancho Park. You’ve earned every bit of the love and support you receive!

Read moreThis isn’t a mind blowing burger but the experience more than makes up for it. Simply ordering your meal is a vibe in itself.
Your order is taken by the same guy who’s working the griddle so they second you list off your order, you get to watch that same guy make it right in front of you; that’s pretty cool and fills the stand with a classic LA feel. Since this is a neighborhood joint, you know the service is fast, friendly, and focused on delivering quality food, made to order, at an unbeatable price. To top off the incredible experience of getting the food, they only take cash. While this might seem annoying, it just adds to the timeless nature of the restaurant.
I got The Combo and while the patty kind of tasted like blue cheese, in a bad way, when taken all together, it’s maybe the perfect bite every time. The flavors from the beef burger, the delectable Vienna sausage, paired with the natural MSG of the tomato, the intensity of the white onion and that store-bought sesame seed bun, all mesh to make for a bite that is uniquely Marty’s.
The chichi cheese fries are solid. The chili itself is a copy of Original Tommy’s (cause if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em) so it’s great just nothing special. The fries hold up surprisingly well for being shoestring and have a good puff to them.
Marty’s Hamburger Stand is an institution and a California classic for a reason that deserves more...
Read moreThis place is not very high on my list for burgers or hot dogs! Today was my third time going and my last because of the employee's poor attitude towards me and they are always out of things...
The first time I stopped there was because I saw their Vienna Hotdog sign in front. I ordered both a hotdog and a turkey burger. The hotdog was a real letdown since they didn't offer it Chicago style and they didn't have all the fixens plus it was grilled vs steamed. However, I was glad that they had turkey burgers. The turkey burger was tasty but quite small.
The second time I stopped by to get a turkey burger but I was told that they ran out, so I tried their underwhelming hamburger/hotdog combo instead.
Today I stopped in during lunch and was again told that they were out at which time I asked if getting a turkey burger was a problem. I was told that if I wasn't happy that I should go somewhere else which is exactly what I did.
Definitely not worth going to and good luck getting a...
