This McDonald's has been my "home" McDonald's for almost 21 years now so I've had my good and bad encounters... For the most part they are usually very nice and on top of their game as far as getting orders done correctly and in a timely manner... HOWEVER!!! The time posted on the signs that they close (and is listed online) for "cleaning" from 3:30AM to 4:30AM this frequently became an issue for me personally (when I still had a car that is lol more on this further along) because many a time at 2-3AM I would often get a craving as one does and I would look at the clock and think to myself... "SWEET! I have enough time to get there before they close" (since I lived right around the corner) and I would pull into the drive-thru only to be abruptly stopped by those dastardly orange cones that they stick in the lane(s) when they are closed (you know the ones that they place side-by-side two in each lane like a big🖕🏻YOU) Sometimes I would even go up to the window WELL before 3AM just to be waved off like some unloved annoying stepchild... To my more recent endeavors that shall be simply titled "The Adventures of No-Car-Dom" (compliments of LADOT/Parking Enforcement) during which events that we would show up to enjoy our late night rendezvous in the "dining room/area" (as they so eloquently dub it) and either just have a quick bite to eat and/or play with the kids videogame machines yet again to be met only by a locked door, which was quickly followed up by a brief yet sudden feeling of disdain subsequently followed by sorrow and misfortune... I simply just wish that they would stick to the hours of which they have posted... Furthermore (and lastly... Sorry if you suffered through this rant/desperate plea for help) the other thing that would be greatly INFURIATING was that the other McDonald's down the road (at Wilbur/Ventura) would close for the same thing for an hour (entirely understandable) as well which makes sense by all means close for the same thing, it's the same store with the same rules and "strict" guidelines to follow (HA! Yeah such as store hours lol) but for the love of God! Do they have to close at the same exact friggin' hour!!!!!? Like they couldn't stagger it by like an hour or at least 30mins so that there would AT LEAST be a McDonald's that was open within a 1-3mile radius... Oh yeah and it just dawned on me that the effing place has the AUDACITY to have a HUGE SIGN lit up nice and bright displaying the deceiving words suggesting that they are actually open "24/7" ha what a joke... Other than that and the fact that they didn't have strawberry topping for the sundaes this time this McDonald's is...
Read moreWent through the drive through, ordered a delux crispy chicken with a side of crinkle cut pickles. I was very specific about the pickles. They said they cost extra, which they never have. So I told them that’s not true and a different person gets on the head set and asks me for my order again from the start. So I give her my order again with “crinkle cut pickles, the ones that go on the more expensive sandwiches” because for some reason they can’t just have the good pickles on all the sandwiches. But I ended up at the next window and checked when they gave me my bag because they always skimp me on the pickles like I’m bout to take their fortune and they were the nasty pickles that come on the cheep burgers. So I asked for the crinkle cut and the lady said they don’t have them then I asked her again to please just get my pickles. She came back with my pickles. So I left and parked a block down the road to eat and they gave me a crispy chicken with nothing but the patty, buns and pickles. Nothing, not even mayo. So I drive all the way back and ask to talk to the manager and the lady I talked to said she was the manager so I asked if I could speak to her at the window. I pulled up to the next window and it was a complete different person than who I was talking to. So I told the guy about my sandwich, he asked to see it. I went to show it to him, he looks at it and tells me that’s how the Crispy chicken so I explained to him again, that I ordered a delux. He said they will make another one. I go to the next window and the lady asked to look at it as well as if I was lying. So I go to show her and she grabs it and brings it inside and looks at it then handed it to another coworker. The most unsatisfactory, unsanitary, inattentive, inconsistent, and unpleasant service I have ever had at any place ever. This place needs to go under...
Read moreWorst experience ever. My boyfriend asked the manager whom was taking our order at the register, if he could order an item off the secret menu. It was just a mc flurry but instead of the usual m&m's or oreos mixed in, they mix an apple pie in. The manager was so offended by being asked this he proceeded to get super hostile and it was very apparent that he lacked any professionalism. One of his reasoning was that the pie would break the mc flurry stirring machine. Total bs because my bf has ordered this at many other mc donalds and not to mention your mc flurry spoon is what the machine uses as the stir tool. Anyways the manager tells my bf that he isn't allowed to order ANYTHING at all now! Keep in mind as this was going on I was sitting down on the seats closest to the cashiers, I had the flu and all I wanted was a milkshake to ease my sore throat. My bf accepts his fate of no mc donalds and comes up to me to hand me cash so I could just order my shake and I go up to order and the manager says that I can't order anything either! WOW! Unbelievable. .. Oh and not to mention there are dozens of fruit flies that fly all around in there, especially near the soda machines and in the bathroom...
