Mini's Croissants & Boba — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I found out from family and friends that they were driving all the way out to the San Fernando Valley to get baked goods, specifically the Ube cookies with white chocolate. We didn’t go in until accidentally looking for a bubble place and we ended up in the small strip mall with a 7-Eleven in it. There’s not a lot of parking spots but most people do a good job popping in, getting what they need and then leaving. They’re always seems to be a parking spot if you wait a minute or two. They’re really good Boba and baked items. The staff is super nice. It’s not a place where you can sit and eat. It’s definitely a place to pick up your order and go. They have a glass door that is surprisingly still intact. I can’t remember if it’s a push or pull but it’s not very intuitive. I wish they’d fix it. But everything we’ve had there has been really good. Wish they’d stay open longer. A few times that I’d been out that way, I wanted to make a point to drop by but Mini’s had just closed, I think it was around 7 PM. That Topanga Canyon Road Can really try one’s patience. Since they built up more malls on their mall strip, it can take up to 15 minutes just to exit the freeway and get to where you’re going. Give yourself lots of time if you want to go anywhere...

I googled horchata coffee and this was the number one recommendation. So I drove out of my way to go there and when I placed my order I was greeted with downright hostility from the female owner. As she shoved a menu in my face, she asked me accusingly where on the menu I saw the listing for the drink. I explained how i found it (on google) to which she scoffed that they “don’t have online!”. I noticed that all of their food looked tasty and healthy, which is a damn shame since I’d never patronize a business with such an incredibly nasty owner. Unprovoked and unwarranted. No clue why she was so disgusted by me asking for that drink but rest assured that I will never return to ask for that drink or anything else again....

The wife's an I favorite place. We try something new everytime we come. This time we went with shaved ice's some Madeline's, a cream horn, an Tiramisu. The shaved ice was fantastic! The creamhorn, fantastic! The Tiramisu also fantastic! Best of all, they remembered us from the last order an hooked it up with some of their almond cookies 🍪😋!!! Yummmm!!!
