I write for a music and coffee blog called Crooners In Coffeeshops, in which I interview local musicians at local coffeeshops. My writeup reflects the positive experience that I encountered at Moby's Coffee & Tea on our interview date, in which they so kindly allowed us to film completely on a whim.
Moby’s Coffee & Tea is a quirky, hidden gem in an off the beaten path strip mall. Even though it’s not located directly in the illustrious NOHO Arts District, you will still get your fill of funky, colorful (presumably local) artwork and a menu mixed with classic and kookily named specialty coffees. Cute bistro tables line the outside while worn in, vintage-y type leather couches inside give you the perfect shop where you can play a board game for two in the warm sun or hole up all day with a good book and Cup of Joe.

The baristas are wonderful too — one time, when I was pregnant, I was so tired and so sick, and I wanted a coffee but was struggling and didn’t realize I had no money. The barista paid for it. They’ve also let me advertise my book for Foster Care Awareness Month, and are dog friendly — my dog LIVES for the pets and pup cups. She literally tries to drag me down the street to Moby’s when she’s done at the dog park. All in all, Moby’s is a must...
