Terrible Customer Service. Called and asked what time 'Pick-up" was available until, was told 11pm by an employee. Called back at 10:30pm and was told that 'Pick-up" ended at 10pm. When I mentioned that I had just called an hour before and was told 11pm the current employee on the phone said, "oh, there is a new girl working, she probably didn't know."
Asked if I could received complimentary delivery due to the poorly educated/trained new employee who was allowed to answer the phones and give improper information to customers. Said employee passed me onto the manager. Enter MANAGER JANE - who not only said there was nothing she could do but further said there was no way she could confirm that I was even telling the truth... Uh, because I have better things to do with my evening than attempt to defraud a Papa John's restaurant to save a delivery charge!
She made absolutely no effort to offer anything in compromise for her employees not answering customers questions accurately, not even complimentary sauces or a $2 soft drink... NOTHING. I did however receive an apology that I was such an offended customer and that she was not able to satisfy me. That would be like me saying, "hey, sorry I rear ended your car and that you're so upset about it but there is nothing I can do..."
Will NEVER again go to a Papa John's after this experience. Shame that such a great company could have such a poor management problem which costs the company loyal customers whose business will now be going to a competitor. Bravo Papa John and...
Read moreThis papá Johns location in van Nuys Sherman Oaks is the worst store I have had multiple times bad products served to me, their pizza was bad the parmeasan bread was so dried hardly any butter or seasoning almost as if tasting cardboard. The owner personally supposedly was gonna credit a complimentary meal the whole order was to be redone right the next visit. Weeks paseed by I tried calling to order and redeem my credit but there was only partial credit. So the point of the story coming from the top THE OWNER IS NOT TRUST WORTHY HE LIED TO HIS EX LOYAL CUSTOMER. Received the pizza, and it's nothing like a New York Style pizza, other than the falsely advertised name.
The pizza tasted sweet, like a sweet bread dough, I called in and complained to the manager Aliza (Liza) and she too agreed, that's it's just an advertising gimmick it's the same crust as their regular pizza.
She refused to pick up, the in eaten pizza and refund my card.....insisted for us to bring it back, when we paid extra for delivery.
