A Perfect Latte - no need for any sugar when the espresso is brewed just right... mmmmmm...so good. What a fab unexpected place! Music they were playing was so relaxing and I loved my pot of tea! I felt like the coffee quality is much better than a commercialized place (obviously!). There was a good selection for coffee and teas. Matcha brownie is something I will have to try next time. Even though there was only one person working at the counter, I still felt that it was all prepared in a timely fashion. Seating is limited but you can tell locals like this place. It was filled with people in a relaxed atmosphere when you walk into the coffee shop. Everything is made only better coming from the gracious and warm employees. See you again soon!

I’m always searching for new coffee shops in LA and this was a gem! There was a line of people waiting for it to open, so I knew it was legit. One of the best spots I’ve tried. It was GOOD. Had to give 5 stars for the barista who was taking orders AND making coffee quick and seamlessly. I tried the white chocolate latte and matcha croissant. I’m a fan! My only disappointment was that they didn’t have any of the breakfast items I was interested in like the bacon sandwich or chicken panini… only what was shown in the cases. I’ll definitely come back! Ambiance reminded me of a coffee shop in NY. No frills, not overdone but delivers. Exactly what I need in my life. Also affordable and not overpriced in my opinion.

Located in Little Ethiopia, Paradocs Coffee and Tea is a cool little coffee shop, great for the afternoon coffee pick me up during a long day. I ordered a pour over coffee, and it was alright. I asked for a tiny amount of milk in my coffee to cut the bitterness, but somehow the pour over was watery. I couldn't discern much of the medium roast flavors. The shop is a great place to drop by for a quick grab, but not as conducive for studying. There's no wifi in there. And the tables are kinda small. I would come back to try they espresso drinks and to chat with a friend rather than study there.

We got two 16 oz matchas with oat milk. We noticed that when he passed the card reader for my friend to pay, it was tossed in her direction. She let it slide. When it came to trying the drinks, we weren’t pleased with the taste. It tasted mostly of milk and water, as if he didn’t put enough matcha powder in. We’ve had matcha endless times before and knew it wasn’t what we had expected. I go inside to let the gentleman who made them know that we didn’t like our drinks and see if we could order something else in place of it. He told me that I’ve never had good high quality matcha like the one they serve. He doesn’t know what I’ve had or know of my experiences to say such a thing. I asked him to show me what they use. He suggested adding sugar and more milk and I agreed. But that doesn’t enhance the flavor, I just didn’t want to argue. Just made the drink sweet with no flavor. My friend still wasn’t satisfied, because she understands sugar isn’t the fix so we went back in. He refused to give her another coffee in place because he said there was nothing wrong with the drink he made. He said it wasn’t defective and she was wrong (verbatim, we repeated back what he said and he said yes). He kept talking over me and rambling, simply refusing to accommodate us. He wanted to charge her 2.75 for a small mocha latte for the difference. We declined.

My friend felt robbed of her money, wronged, pushed aside, not welcomed, and that her taste isn’t good taste because she didn’t like his “good” coffee. We both have worked in the coffee industry for years. We both know that more milk and sugar doesn’t make a drink better. I DONT recommend...

Definitely a big surprise inside this location!

Decided to stop by for a quick coffee and ended up being taken in by all the flavors and aromas of good coffee. This shop is really close to our place and even though we don't come as often its a top spot to visit for caffeine. The owner Taka is super friendly and very helpful and knowledgeable about the coffee he serves.

Parking isn't terrible but also isn't the easiest but street meters are usually available. Also, don't worry about parking "far" from the shop because there are other little stores to visit on your way to getting your caffeine fix.

The back to the actual coffee, I got the ice vanilla latte and it was perfectly made. I like the sudden bitterness yet sweet finish to it. It wasn't overwhelmingly sweet but just the right amount.

I would recommend stopping by if you are in the area. They have some seating if you want to relax...
