They're swindlers. Plain and simple. Bought a camera which the lady assured me i could return if it didn't work, when it didn't work she tried to go back on her promise and said she would fix it. When she couldn't she kept trying to go back on her word, and even brought in her "tech" guy who was just rude and tried to bully me for buying something vintage. Terrible service, products are faulty, and the energy is awful. Would give no stars if Google would let me. SAVE YOUR MONEY!
EDIT - it's astonishing the latitudes that Moji Niko will go to lie and go back on her word. Not only was there never any mention of 7-10 days or testing it out in store, I returned with the camera before 30 days as i was not done testing the camera. Is an item only considered functional if works twice and then fails on you? A roll of polaroid film comes with 8 frames, out of 8 frames only 2 shot completely fine. So it only worked 25% of the time and that is considered functional in her delusional mind. Never would I have purchased if Moji wouldn't have given me her word that i could test it first and return it if it didn't work. I really wanted to trust this small store and another woman, but it is clear now that MOJI NIKO IS A SWINDLER. DO NOT TRUST HER OR HELPING HANDS...
Read moreStopped by this store today and was excited about the shop looking at all the antiques. I came across three designer bags one of which was a Dior bag that was brand new with the box. I asked the lady working at the front if I could see it and she said it was "too much work to get it down" but that it was $1,500 and she went back to texting on her phone. Already I'm confused why you would work at a business if you're too lazy to bring something to a customer.
I then asked if it's authentic and she said she can't guarantee it since she's "not an expert and goes based off her own thoughts of what looks real." I originally wanted to let her know that I worked at a consignment shop for a few years authenticating their goods and that in the US it is illegal to sell counterfeit goods. I really want to give the benefit of the doubt and just claim lack of knowledge, but just the whole attitude surrounding the experience is why I decided to write a review to warn customers.
But hopefully they read this and understand the importance of customer service and make efforts to realize what they can and cannot sell. I am not writing this to be rude or put down this business but I am coming from a place of concern and...
Read moreAs others have noted, prices listed on items are not honored.
I picked up one of the items to purchase that had a $10 sticker on it. When I went to the counter to pay, the woman behind the counter removed the sticker and claimed that wasn't the correct price and that it was actually $38. I explained that clearly someone had placed the sticker on there...she refused to budge. I said I didn't want it and walked out of the store feeling scammed.
Bottom line is, avoid this place.
PS - clarification as the owner has responded below. The reason I brought a camera is because I have a YouTube channel where I share my thrifting experiences. I asked permission to film, they declined and I put away my camera. Regarding the sticker, read other reviews here and on Yelp as others have had the same experience. The fact that now she’s accusing a new customer of being a thief just goes to show how they run...
