The customer service was excellent, the pizza was terrible.
Called over the phone, very professional and polite. I ordered 3 XL pizzas. 1 cheese, 1 pepperoni and 1 pepperoni and spicy italian sausage. The overall rating on Google made me believe these pizzas were worth $35 a piece. They are not. These 5 star reviews are from people with terrible taste buds or low expectations. Some twice divorce 45yr old man is sitting in his Ford Fiesta / apartment stuffing his face with this garbage thinking "this pizza is amazing, also I hate my life".
Not me. I've been around quite a bit (Chicago/New York) and I know pizza very well. The ingredients are cheap. The crust is flimsy and has a texture that is gummy, chewy and saturated with grease. They were very stingy with the cheese which tasted like the lowest quality you could buy from Food 4 Less. The pepperoni was inconsequential. They could have just added artificial pepperoni flavored slabs of bologna, it would have made no difference. The spicy Italian sausage was not spicy at all and taste like Italian sausage from the school lunch at a public school in a bad neighborhood.
Overall, I could have went to Pizza Hut and got more, way better "tasting" pizza's for the same price but I didn't want to buy the typical chain pizzas for my daughters 4th birthday party. I wanted a local pizzeria that had good ratings, fresh ingredients and pride in what they made.
Boy was I shafted out of $95 + tip. There is no pride in these pies. These are heterosexual pizzas. Straight, boring pizza. Nothing festive or unique about them at all. The price reflects the location of the restaurant, not the quality. If you want some whatever pizzas that are overpriced, Go here. Otherwise, Run away as fast as you caaaan ~ Kanye Voice.
Quick disclosure. I will say, the pizza for me were terrible and I would never purchase pizza of this quality regardless of the price but, the kids ate it up no problem. They know nothing. It didn't taste terrible, but I also didn't taste good at all. There was no bad after taste or undercooked ingredient. I don't think it's going to upset anyones stomach. Its just not worth the price and needs...
Read moreThe couple who own Pazzo Pizzeria are absolute gems in this world! The wife and husband are outgoing, fun, sweet and full of love. You can tell how much they seem to have a great time together as well. They totally took me by surprise by giving me more than I could ask for tonight.
I came 10/15 min before closing time and the husband said as long as he was still there and opened he was going to cook. He even made fresh garlic knots for me.
When I was curious about the flowers the wife had put out, she got excited telling me all about them. She encouraged my curiosity to smell them. They were sweet peas and smelled amazing. She showed me where the sweet peas were growing. She is such an awesome teacher!
She showed me her beautiful way of making kimbop and how she incorporated flowers into her meal presentation. She even invited me to a class she was going to teach. She is a soul that connects other souls.
Her husband is just as sweet.
I felt so welcomed in their restaurant. I feel like they could be an instant family with anyone. They are such lovely people!
Thank you for inviting me into your home and giving me a warm meal. Thank you for the gift of these beautiful flowers. This is such a memorable night for me. Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity!! Thank you for your genuine human connection.
The food is bomb...
Read more5.24.24 was our 2nd time getting the Bulgogi Pizza and it was delicious. The creamy sauce, cheese, dough and toppings are top notch, although a bit thin and very pricey (you pay for premium ingredients). The drink selection is generic and does not match the elevated taste palette. My Best Friend had a Rasberry Tea Snapple and I had filtered (?) Water in a tiny water cup (which the employee maybe one of the owners asked repeatedly "she just wants water? Yes, because the only other decent option was an unopened box of Costco's brand (Kierland) of Ginger Lemon Kombucha. And also the pizza is expensive enough although very good.
I also loved the one vase of flowers, which helped to liven up the space that otherwise felt a tiny bit unwelcoming. There are a few tables and chairs, though.
Parking spaces are Snug, very compact and the lot is small on the SW side of the intersection.
There is only one outlet being used for something on the wall (light?), so it's not an ideal kind of place for a...
