Rigo's Taco #6 — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I ordered 6 tacos in here 2 days ago through the phone right as they were closing, when I tried walking a guy at the door told me they were already closed, only after a few minutes of me telling him I had ordered through the phone he allowed me in. I asked without cilantro because me and my husband are allergic to it. They put cilantro anyways, I asked if the guacamole had cilantro in it and she said it didn’t, but it end up that it had. Me and my husband had a really bad allergy reaction because of it, I returned two days after because I wasn’t in the city the following day, I called, explained the situation and they told me to “come in”. When I got to the restaurant they told me the only way I could get my money back it was if I had brought the tacos back to them, I even had pictures of it with the date and time stamp, I showed it to them and no one did anything. They didn’t even have a manager or supervisor I could talk to. Worse experience ever, don’t say you’re gonna do something through the phone and then when the person gets there say something else. How do you expect me to keep a taco half eaten for 2 days? That’s non sense. Don’t buy here if you have any allergies and if you care about...

Average. Fat tacos. Lengua (whole lotta fat, i would order it aggain in case it was better. Wasnt my favorite.) asada and barbacoa. They were good. Spicy red sauce, but good. Salsa Verde was very good. We had finished and got full on the carrot and onion sides. Huge, chunky, and well balanced. The refried beans were made with manteca (lard). That did t rake away from the taste. Wasn't overwhelmed in Manteca, which takes away from the flavor of the beans.

Horchata was very good. Little heavy on cinnamon, but it was homemade, so that was a huge plus.

Priced right.

Old school outdated furniture with loads of formica was an awesome feeling I enjoyed. DO NOT REMODEL. It looks beautiful.

FALSE ADVERTISING and Very bad service the manager treated me horrible! Just because I asked to have a refill. In the menu it said I could have a free refill If you get the large drink as you can see in the picture. Reason why I paid more and even asked in the beginning. I understand that we are under covid-19 but She was extremely rude! I Told her... you should cover it up if you are not giving what Is printed on the menu. She didn’t care, so later on I check the menu and the prices and special are definitely false advertising. I bought almost $35 dlls of food in 3 different transactions and it doesn’t match with the board! SECOND OPPORTUNITY 2 day later I go back with my boyfriend and the same thing happened!
