I have been to this restaurant numerous times to tell them to stop serving alcohol to my mother in law who is an alcoholic. She is 82 years old and has came home drunker than hell so many times after leaving this place. I’ve told them numerous times to stop serving her since she is a huge threat to her own self if she drinks at all but no, they just insist that they can’t do anything and just continue to serve her whatever she wants, when she wants. I know there are probably a few who feel me but the facts are is that they flat out refuse to do anything about it. I’ve expressed my concern plenty of times and guess what. She fell after coming back from this restaurant today 8/21/23 and it’s the exact situation that I told them to avoid and that I was worried about to the T. I called to tell them that they have did it to her for real this time and they even tried to act like she wasn’t in there at first but then eventually told the truth because they know it’s me calling because I’ve called plenty of times before and came by in person to check in on the frequency of her visits and how much she is drinking. It’s absolutely insane that a restaurant can get a very concerning warning for the life of one of their customers that they claim they “love and appreciate and look forward to seeing” but really they just collect a check and forget about it. I have no good words for this place and I’ve never had good words for this place. When it was being built back in the day after being converted from pinkberry to Ritrovo, I was younger and living at home. My room was directly above their kitchen and they would straight up do construction so loud until 2 am keeping me up at night. Residents in the building have had to go down and tell them to stop the noise. Ask around and you’ll find out what I’m talking about so don’t just take my word for it. It’s true this place breeds greediness but the problem is that there is a ton of different owners so I don’t know if any action will be taken for this one. I’m only one person and everyone else on the other side is just concerned with making 1 more dollar and probably taking 0 responsibility here so here are at least my experiences with this place. I hate this place with a...
Read moreFirst time eating here and it was delicious! Wife and I finally made it to the Banksy exhibit nearby and decided to make it a date night. Kylie was inviting on the phone when we called for reservations and encouraged us to come down. Seth was our waiter and he was attentive on a busy night.
Really comfortable seating inside and out. Relaxing ambiance. We split the chopped salad, delicious dressing. We knew we would have left overs but the divine smell of pizza on the way in, and Seth’s recommendations, convinced us to try two types since we don’t get here very often. The Burrata was mild and scrumptious. Highlighted the quality of tomato sauce and bread. The Della Casa had more toppings and was a wonderful counterpoint. I enjoyed a glass of the Sangiovese and we split a decadent Chocolate Hazelnut cake at the end with a scoop of salted caramel gelato.
Thank you Ritrovo for a wonderful...
Read moreGreat food, but tonight, Tuesday 1/14 a group of 4 (notably 2 heavier set middle aged ladies, one Italian and otherblack) on the table close to the back, kept barking (talking loudly) for no reason. Yapping forever. Just uncomfortable how some people think they are alone. This is a small intimate place. Know your manners!!! We couldn't have a quiet conversation without them intruding into our and everybody's ear space. Also 2 go gettter botoxed mom's (fake forehead that us 25 year olds recognize in 39 year olds lol) had strollers with them and let the baby's cry. This isn't your playa Vista home food court. Make your own meal, have some skills, and get a babysitter , then come out to dine, classless local Playa Vista wanna bes. Again. Food was great, but maitre D should Maybe set the tone with these...
