My 2-star review: The quality of customer service can fluctuate significantly; some employees consistently exhibit friendliness, while others, particularly younger African-American staff members wearing earbuds and listening to their music, might not acknowledge your presence. They often engage in conversations with their colleagues and tend to disregard customers. There is ABSOLUTELY no recognition that a customer is standing at the cashier, waiting to place an order.

Read moreI usually enjoy coffee bean but the experience I had on 2/17 was so inappropriate. The barista, Larry, was so kind at first but then once I was paying proceeded to ask me "if you have your own car, place, and money, why do u need a man?" I just shocked and trying to see it as simply a hypothetical respond saying I don't. I imply I am queer and regardless am independent. He is immediately pushy and keeps saying I need someone bc I can't be independent. No matter me trying to stand my ground, why would he think that's an appropriate question to ask a customer? I keep walking away standing my ground and he keeps implying I need someone in my life? Read moreCame here to grab a hot matcha this morning and it was decent in flavor but not even hot anymore. Ordering was more difficult than it needed to be.The cashier was hard to communicate with. I could barely hear him and he would not speak up. I asked the cashier if I could see which cup sizes were available he responded with 12,16,18 and then took a while to show me the cups which is what I had asked to see in the first place. It was just very lethargic and lazy energy. I also waited 30 minutes to get my order all because the barista never said my name, so my hot matcha was no longer hot.
