Total Incompetence!
First, if you ever order to go, check it before you leave. We've been shorted many times and when you call, they promise to reverse the charges which they never do.
Second, if you dine in with you family and friends and order Sushi and from the kitchen, don't expect to eat together. The management of this place has no clue about what it means to dine out with your family or friends. My family ordered Sushi and I ordered from the kitchen. 45 minutes after they had finished their meal, but food was still not served. Not because it takes longer to cook (salad), because there is zero coordination and the operating management has no clue about the etiquette of serving food to a table of more than one. Other tables who had arrived after us and had also ordered from the kitchen had theirs served way before ours.
Finally, let me tell you about the management, or at least the one by the name of Angela. When I asked the waiter to talk to her, she hid. I was told to ask for her on the way out. When I went toward the kitchen she basically started to run away, until I called her name. I told her “Do you realize I’m leaving your restaurant without having eaten”. Her reply was “yes, you cancelled your food”. “This is a sushi restaurant. We don’t serve everything together”. Complete arrogance and total disregard for the customer. No regrets, no apologies, nothing. She simply didn’t care! This happens more often than not at this place!
To the proprietor of the establishment, Al: The management and running of your restaurant needs a lot of work. Start hiring restaurant professionals instead of entitled kids who know absolutely nothing about customer service and managing a restaurant. I know you can afford it with the exuberant prices you charge. The quality of your food becomes irrelevant when the...
Read moreSlow service. Sashimi could be better. One guy working as a host and server was the nicest one and picking up where the rest of staff just chit-chatted with each other. Asked for ramen no pork- it had pork! So I returned it then I Asked for the Bento lunch. They didn't bring my sushi then the waitress acted like there wasn't anything she could do about it. And instead of at least fixing the price to reflect the forgotten sushi she still charged me the full lunch. When on the menu there is a version of the Bento that is a few dollars cheaper. Then. A friend who recommended it to me. Said they are always free iced green tea when they come in. So I asked for iced green tea- I was so upset and paid for the bill. And then I realised they also charged me over 2$ for the iced green tea- they never even offered to freshen up the drink. I asked my friend who goes there a lot about the "free iced green tea" they said yes it's Always free when they go there. These waitresses weren't very good, and it wasn't even busy. I still left a tip but only 10%. They r lucky I left anything at all. Although I did feel bad that the owner said sharply to one waitress, "Woman, come here." Maybe I will try this place again in the future yet only if my friend...
Read moreAWFUL!! I should have just believed the negative reviews online when it said overpriced mediocre sushi. That wasn't even the worst part, the customer service was horrific by the sushi chef and the supervisor was just as bad. They served me steaming hot sushi rice with my raw fish (gross). When I simply asked for room temperature sushi rice, the sushi chef said no. I thought this was a super reasonable request. I asked for the supervisor, who came across as an arrogant jerk who basically shrugged it off and blamed everything on miscommunication and said it was a simple request. Forget the fact that I spent 5 minutes going back and forth with the waitress who kept asking for the room temperature sushi rice from the sushi chef, who you could tell just by his demeanor was just as arrogant as the supervisor. Sashimi slices were super expensive, thin and tasted very mediocre. The place is a dump. Our waitress was the best part of the experience. Super nice. She seemed embarrassed by the lack of customer...
