This here is an additional review now that we are post covid and we can enjoy the indoor experience.
The restaurant offers a very nice relaxing vibe. The ambiance is great. It's not the typical loud vibrant themed Mexican restaurant that you would expect, but rather a bit more low key. I loved it. Tables seem to be distanced just enough and the restaurant was nice and clean. The staff works very hard and are very attentive. You can expect to order, eat and leave within an hours time if you are not enjoying cocktails with your dinner. The food is always amazing here and I was able to venture on to new dishes. The flavors of the food are very good. The beans on the toastada are not mashed but whole. The chicken quesadilla has amazing bold chicken flavor and not just leaving your mouth with the experience of cheese. The burrito is large and packs a lot of flavor in the beans and rice. Parking can be difficult to find near by so you may have to walk a block or two. Dinning attire is very casual. The menu offers a large variety of options from tacos to French fries. There is a bar area which also offers seating, however I did not experience that area so I cannot offer an opinion. Theres is additional searing outdoors as well. I would highly recommend Rodeo for in restaurant dining as opposed to take out. They have missed the mark on take out on several occasions regarding...
Read moreBeen limiting my nights out over the past two years.
About a year ago I saw Rodeo had some good happy hour specials at the bar. I went and had a good time. It was affordable.
Few months later I went and ordered at the counter. Although it was happy hour, I was charged normal rates.
Figured I had to order at the bar.
Months later, I went and sat at the bar. 15 minutes and nobody took my order. I walked out.
Today, I gave them another chance. Sat in the bar.
Waiter did not attend to me for more than 10 minutes.
I was patient.
Meanwhile a couple showed up. They waited a few minutes. Walked up to the bartender and placed their order.
I was still waiting. I eventually ordered. A beer, tacos and Frijoles.
Minutes after the couple, that showed up after me, got their drinks. Minutes after they got their food.
Meanwhile, I was still waiting for my beer.
I gave it 5 more minutes to no avail.
As I got up the waiter walked by. I canceled my order and walked out.
Disappointing. Food is good. Service,...
Read moreI’ve never had a bad experience here! When I am craving authentic Mexican food, Rodeo is the first to come to mind. The authenticity and the quality of the food is unmatched. I always get the burrito enchilada, which I usually love smothered in green sauce, but every now and the I’ll ask for a half and half of the red and green. The rice and beans on the side are my favorite. They make it very well. Plus great salsa too!
Rodeo Express next door is also a top favorite when I am in the mood for a good asada and rice+beans. Again, quality and flavor is unmatched and I am very happy that this is just a few min away from home. The food and the service are both usually consistent. What more could you ask for! My husband and I both love this spot and will always come back. We do miss when they would offer pickled jalapeños/carrots/onions but they stopped offering that a little...
