SHOOGAR TEA SHOPPE — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I randomly came across this great boba place when I googled boba on my way to my mom's. Initially it showed up as the previous store "beehive boba" so when I parked, I didn't see the sign and was perplexed. Apparently, Shoogar is the new name with a new owner! Very simple, yet classy interior. Owner was informative and friendly gave various suggestions. I ordered their signature tea and was able to control the sugar volume as well. My kids loved their smoothie boba. I LOVE the top lid so you can close the hole when needed (need to take out straw though) or take it off and click it in its place holder when drinking. Worked great as we headed to a firework show with my kids, so just placed it in my snack bag. (Wish i took a photo of it!) Clean great tasting tea and boba....

Shoogar just opened up so we went to check it out. It has a really nice, minimal interior with a lot of natural lighting. The workers were very happy to welcome us and chat about what drinks they had to offer. They even had some free samples of the Pink Blush and the Mango Sunshine. I wanted something milky so I went for their Cookie Crusher while my girlfriend ordered the Pink Blush. The cookie crusher is a good cookies and cream flavor with a moderate thickness and the Pink Blush tasted like strawberry milk.
