I really used to like this particular location. It’s in Grand Park near a water fountain where children of all ages can play. Unfortunately, recently, I have had really bad service here. On the first occasion, after having waited in a long “mobile order pick up” line, the barista said there was no order with my name. I tried to show her my mobile receipt but she had walked away. I waited for her return and she was visibly annoyed. She did not want to see my receipt and said, she’ll “just make it, what is it?” When I told her, she said, “oh” and grabbed a cup in front of her and said, “here it is.” It was there the whole time. The next day a different person did not acknowledge me waiting for my mobile order outside at the window. I waited for 5 minutes. When I walked in, they told me mobile pick up is outside. I went back out and waited for 2 minutes before I knocked on the glass. They got annoyed at me for doing so, but gave me my order anyway. This is not...
Read moreThis is a popular coffee shop because resides inside the Grand Park, which is also right next to the Stanley Mosk Courthouse (civil). I've been on jury duty for the last three weeks and have become a frequent patron of this establishment. The courthouse side exit (on 2nd floor near jury assembly room) gives you straight access to this coffee shop, which is only a few steps away.
I recommend coming here instead of the snack bar on the 2nd floor that sits outside of the jury assembly room because that snack bar is CHEAP and charges for everything! I should do a separate review on that place if it exists on here! I digress...

Read moreI waited a long time for 2 drinks and a sandwich. The employees were fooling around joking about being fired and cursing while there are customers in the shop. I get my drinks but the barista forgets my food. Let's talk about the food. When I was in line trying to decide what to eat, I am staring at the display case where they showcase the food. It's full of flies and gnats. The cashier very nonchalantly tells me, "Don't worry that's not the food we offer to our customers. Its inevitable to have bugs, were by the park and there's gas in here". By park he meant Grand Park. A park right smack in the middle of huge concrete buildings. What does that have to do with being clean? Why this place had an A is beyond me. Manager: retrain your staff, keep it clean. You're serving food for...
