I actually got lost while cruising around downtown on my segway. I ended taking a shortcut through the park when I ran into this fountain. It was beautifully lit up at night with an awesome view. And go figure after spending about a half hour circling the Bank of America business center for an atm. I found one next to the fountain in the park. Apparently the park was closed because I was the only person riding around taking pictures. I have to say thank you to my phone for not dieing on me and getting some great shots. Gotta love my Samsung. And to the few homeless people I noticed entering the park for not taking my money and segway and leaving me in a Bush. I wouldn't suggest a nighttime solo ride thru an unpopulated park in downtown Los Angeles. But I'm safe and with a...

The splash pad here is an awesome place to take small children on a hot day. The water is very shallow, so you don't have to worry about your child drowning, and the place is well patrolled by the security for the Music Hall. The parking is only $10 per day at the 108 N. Hill Street Garage, and is a super close walk. The is parking for Grand Park, but it doesn't open until 9 AM. To top it off, you can grab an iced tea from the Star Bucks that is right beside the splash pad. I wish I had taken by...

Really BEAUTIFUL place especially at night time! The illumination and sound of falling after from the fountains make this place special. There is something magical here, probably the loneliness of the place at night time - almost no people. The smell of chlorine is in the air, because of disinfection of the water in public fountains. There are some security agents here so in is almost safe to visit these place at any time you like. I give this...

Something unique about this fountain is that it changes colors by night and the colors are bright and glamorous. Of the many fountains in L.A. this is one of my favorite ones. You can take pictures in many angles, positions, and locations of this fountain and every picture is awe! I love coming here during summer nights to watch the fountain change beautiful bright colors, it's relaxing to just watch it. It's peaceful, and can take good pics.
