I had a really bad experience this afternoon at this location. It started with a nice young girl taking my order on her tablet while in the drive through. Unfortunately, she may have misheard my order (a iced matcha latte with caramel syrup and made with almond milk.) When I got to the window, they gave me a hot one which I politely asked the cashier Jeanine I think (heavy set Latina girl with glasses and dark hair) when I told her it was wrong she rolled her eyes at me and walked away when I was trying to tell her what it should have. I really wanted to specify almond milk (I am VERY allergic to milk/dairy.) They remade the drink and it didn’t have the sticker on it that specified the order. It was busy so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and stirred it myself. I took a sip and it was just terrible. It was mainly milk and very clumpy matcha and definitely no caramel syrup in it which sweetens it to my liking. I could also tell it had regular milk in because I immediately started to feel itching around my lips and inside of my mouth. I went back through the drive through with the intention of just returning the drink since they were busy, I didn’t want them to waste another drink nor did I really trust it at this point. When I went to the window, Jeannie (Heavy set Latina girl) began with me again, I said “hi I’m sorry this doesn’t taste like how I asked for it and I think it has regular milk and not almond can I just have a refund” she then took the drink with no response to me and they began remaking it. The window closed and I just was there waiting for them to talk with me so I could just go. She came back with a new drink and I asked her what does this have and she just aggressively said “it has almond milk, taste it so you wanna just taste it?” I was kind of nervous and didn’t understand why I just couldn’t get the refund like I asked. This drink again was missing the sticker so I just asked does it have anything else like the caramel syrup, she didn’t know that either. So I just politely asked for a refund again. Then the nice young girl (petite pretty long dark hair tied back wearing all black) intervened and I asked her hey, does this have everything that I asked in the order? I think at that point they pulled the order and took the drink back again. This nice girl said she’d make it the way I asked at the start and refund me as well. I declined since they were busy and I just felt like Jeannie’s (heavy set Latina girl) attitude toward me just made me want to leave. The nice young lady gave me my refund however 3 drinks were wasted because Jeannie wasn’t communicating with me or her team. I’m not sure why she was so offended by our encounter. I was polite, it wasn’t a problem I didn’t want the drink but she failed to do that. The grilled cheese I got for my relative was also not cooked through so that was tossed as well. Please be kinder to strangers, you never know what someone’s going through. Not every customer wants to mistreat you, sometimes they just want they’re drink made correctly. Her reaction tells me she has had some bad experiences with a lot of people sadly but please let your guard down, not all of us are like that. I have been coming here for years and I don’t think I’ll be back. Overall, be kind to people. Some of us are struggling with things you wouldn’t know about and just having a nice interaction...
Read moreMy experience? I was looking for a place to sit down recharge my tablet maybe watch a little TV show something like that while I had a coffee and danish on my break. First thing? There's no actual Drive-In entrance to the lot or not one that I could see because both entrances were marked as exits. When I finally found a place to park in the lot, I took me a few seconds to find the entrance to the cafe. I gathered up the electronics and charger cords and walked in and looked around and immediately noticed that there were no electrical outlets anywhere. Instead, there were covers over wear Outlets had once been. I put I put my stuff down and walk back to the counter we're took another full 2 minutes for anybody even recognize that I was there. The girl that waited on me was young and had a bright smile, and asked what I wanted. I replied that I wanted a medium pikes and an extra empty hot cup of the same size. I also wanted a sugar Plum / cheese danish heated. She poured the coffee and then went to get the Danish from the fridge. I saw her pull one out and walk towards the back, and then she came back and said they were out. I canceled the order for the Danish when was the coffee instead I asked you again for an empty cup with nothing in it, which she brought over. I then asked about the electricity and she said oh no they didn't have any. I commented that Starbucks used to be a place that invited you in and ask you to stay for awhile place where you can relax recharge your own batteries as well as those on your devices. But, I guess a Nuvo trend in these places is to get you in by your coffee and get the F out after they have your money. I couldn't believe then someone would treat a customer with such disdain. I didn't even drink the coffee I just poured it out in the parking lot. Starbucks listen carefully you're going to start losing customers if you don't straighten up and start taking care of the customers who come to depend on you as an oasis in the city. Myself I shall never step foot into this particular Starbucks again, ever. I know you really don't give a damn but I needed to get this one off my chest and to the people who deserve to know what kind of business is being run in their...
Read moreVery helpful staff that was trained thoroughly to do all their job requirements, which is NOT just making everything imaginable that's under the sun for the United States favorite coffee /espresso chain but being administratively knowledgeable by knowing how Starbucks policy is important for them and us. See I do know that when you have a Starbucks gift card that has $9.99 or less left on it that Starbucks will cash that cards remaining balance out for you if you want to walk away with that cash in your pocket but many Starbucks coffee shops aren't owned by the company Starbucks, people that want to open a Starbucks independently have a different set of policies and procedures. Privately owned and operated Starbucks does not honor the gift card cashing out of your remaining balance procedure and the staff member at this Starbucks I visited knew the difference PERFECTLY. It's not easy to find people that consistently make you feel important by making your visit so simple and easy when I have had MULTIPLE STARBUCKS MANAGER'S THAT WERE LOCATED ALL OVER LOS ANGELES tell me with their own mouths that I was a liar and that I needed to get out of their store because I was trying to manipulate or fraudently use Starbucks return policy in a devious and criminal way to gain money. IT'S OK BUCKS! I STILL HAVE TO GET MY STARBUCKS COFFEE EVERY MORNING AND I DON'T THINK THAT A MISINFORMED STARBUCKS MANAGER WILL EVER BE ABLE TO STOP MY TASTEBUDS FROM ENJOYING HOW GREAT STARBUCKS COFFEE BEANS TASTE IN THE MORNING WHEN MOST OF THIS COUNTRY IS STILL ASLEEP, THOSE OF US WHO HAVE A SCRICT REGIME AND WORK IN THE MORNING HOURS IS SO COLD DURING THIS RAINY WINTER SEASON ARE TOGETHER, WAITING IN THEIR CAR SOMEWHERE.... GETTING READY TO ORDER THERE DRINK AND THERE COLLEAGUES A DRINK TOO.... EARLY IN THE MORNING THE REST OF THE WORLD AWAITS... WHILE YOU WERE ASLEEP.... I WENT TO STARBUCKS AND...
