Starbucks — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Went here today at on April 18th at 2pm with friends, place was empty, girl wearing glasses seemed annoyed to have to take our order, the more heavy set employee was busy standing behind the counter talking on her phone. One of my group ordered a piece of bread and asked to please have it heated, girl with glasses said she and her staff were too busy to do it, we politely said we’d wait. Starbucks girl with glasses was miffed. “Nancy” handed us the somewhat heated piece of bread, politely asked to have butter on it, was handed a piece of butter as hard as a rock. Asked if they would be kind enough to give us a soft butter, we were rudely told to use the microwaves on a counter. Next thing you know these lazy Starbucks employees with be telling customers to get behind the counter and make their own coffee. Anyhow, Microwaves were filthy and against health and safety code. We left in disgust! LMU and Starbucks should be ashamed of themselves! Manager of this place needs to be fired for a dirty eating environment and for poorly trained and rude staff! California health and safety have been notified....

This is by far the worst Starbucks branch. The ratio of staff to customers is unacceptable — only three workers for more than a thousand students daily. The result: extremely long wait times. Even mobile pre-orders take 20 minutes or more, which is ridiculous.

When ordering food in person, it often comes out cold, which makes me question whether it’s the workers not heating it properly or if the ovens are not working. On top of that, the water used to mix with the coffee does not taste clean and makes me feel sick.

Because of these issues, my colleagues and I are forced to boycott this branch until management takes real action. If nothing changes, we will escalate the matter to corporate and university...

Food is typical. They were not crowded on multiple occasions. But service is real terrible. They messed up multiple names in our group. They also claimed to be out of whipped cream for a pup cup, but used it for the drink after. Even when it was slow the staff seemed annoyed to take my order. Drinks took a long time too. Even when there was only 3 people...
