I’ve been coming to this location for 5yrs, however, a new barista named Kyndra? Her name tag was hard to read but she was very aggressive and very rude. I went in with my family, everyone in my party orders and then the cashier needed to switch out (oddly) and that’s when Kyndra came up (tall, beret, light colored eyes, darker skin tone) and gives me the total for the order. I then realized I needed to add money into my Starbucks card before paying and this seemed to really pissed her off. She rolled her eyes, sighed and said “if you wanted to do all that, you should have asked for that before we took your order, if I add money now, we’ll need to start over” - so I tell her I used to be a barista and normally that’s not an issue and there should be a way to do that without starting over.
She then gets frustrated and begins talking very fast and says “WELL THATS NOT HOW WE DO THINHS NOW, ARE YOU PAYING OR ARE WE STARTING OVER??” and I responded stating “okay we’ll I’m sorry but I guess we need to start over but I’ll keep that in mind next time.” - and she looks at me, scoffs, shakes her head, and begins aggressively tapping buttons on the screen then says “scan” and I could barely hear her so I said “scan?” She says “your card” - now I’m confused and say “which card??” And she goes “YOU WANT TO REFILL YOUR CARD RIGHT? Scan the app!” So then I scan and like clock work she gives me the total without me having to restart my order and then as I paid she walks away without a thank you or any comment. She was even rude to the person who cam up after me “how can I help you??” Not a hi, nothing. The girl was so intimated she whispered what she wanted and the rude barista loudly repeats her and quickly gives her what she asked for.
Over all Kyndra seemed like she was having a terrible day and just aggressively taking it out on everyone around. Starbucks usually never stands for service like that, so I hope that was a one off...
Read moreSmall location with minimal seating. There was no place to sit initially but luckily someone was leaving and my party was able to snag a chair from another table where only one person was siting and allow the two of us to sit.
Starbucks apparently is moving away from these tiny stores that don’t allow people to engage with the space. Hopefully they will but I’m convinced most people have moved away from the desire to sit in Starbucks for meetings, dates, studying or working in the field.
I actually don’t enjoy coffee, it makes me feel jittery, but their iced tea was great. The person I was meeting wanted to head back to the office because he found the space too loud. For me it was fine but I can see where it’s not the most quiet and the sitting is so cramped you can hear the other tables conversation. So if you need privacy this isn’t the...
