I came here often, and would tell people that it was the best sushi in all of LA. I’m not sure what happened, if they got new staff or new management but my last two experience have been awful. I only decided to write this review because a coworker also expressed their bad experience, and I hope this sends a message for them to change course. I’ll be quick, the first thing was no one was there to seat me, no problem I’ll seat myself, except the open seat I chose was sopping wet. My work pants soaked to my underwear in seconds. I’m on a lunch break and can’t go home to change. No one ever came to get my drink order. The rolls came out sloppy and fell apart, and if that wasn’t annoying enough it wasn’t the correct order and it tasted bad. This place is not cheap, something I always overlooked because the quality was just awesome, not anymore. I was a regular at this place but I can’t justify ever going back now. There are a few other examples I could give but I don’t really want to drag this place through the mud further. Just letting everyone here know that I used to rep this place with a passion and now I can never justify going back. Rip sushi koo will not be...

If you are a fan of sushi and spicy tuna rolls, then you absolutely have to try this place! I recently had the pleasure of trying their spicy tuna roll, and it was hands down the best I have ever had. The quality of the tuna was outstanding, with a melt-in-your-mouth texture that was perfectly complemented by the spicy seasoning.

The heat level was just right for me - enough to give it a kick, but not so much that it overwhelmed the flavor of the tuna. The roll itself was expertly made, with just the right amount of rice and seaweed, and it held together perfectly.

What really sets this spicy tuna apart, however, is the freshness of the ingredients. You can tell that they use only the highest quality, freshest tuna in their rolls, which makes all the difference in the world when it comes to taste.

Overall, I would highly recommend this place to anyone who loves sushi and spicy tuna rolls. It truly is the best I have ever had, and I can't wait to go back and try more of their...

That is my favorite sushi place in Los Angeles. I eat there 3 times a week, and it takes me 30 minutes to drive there one way, but I still do it. You know why? Because

-sushi is very delicious and choice is really good -they are prepared just in front of you from natural ingredients -prices are very good and calculating final price is easy - number of plates you've ordered (some plates have 1 (but complex), others have 2, 4 and 8 (that is very simple) sushi) multiples by $3.5. -authentic atmosphere and real Japanese cookers

That should be enough, but as bonus they have parking where there are usually free spaces (at least in the evening, not sure about dinner time).

Come here, you'll like it, especially if you value good sushi.

P.S. They claim they do not accept credit cards, which is lie, they do accept this...

Sushi KOO – A True Hidden Gem in BEVERLY HILLS Sushi KOO is hands down one of the best quick stop sushi spots I’ve discovered in Los Angeles. The California Roll and Avocado Roll are absolutely delicious — incredibly fresh, full of flavor, and portioned just right. Prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality you’re getting. The restaurant is immaculately clean, and the chef is not only highly skilled but also attentive and welcoming. The atmosphere feels warm and personal — more like a family-owned neighborhood favorite than a commercial chain. The service is top-notch: friendly, efficient, and genuine. Everyone makes you feel at home from the moment you walk in. This has quickly become my go-to sushi spot in L.A. — truly a standout. Highly recommend! Nice to meet you all, and looking forward to coming back soon.

This place has really gone downhill. I've been a regular here for more than a decade, back when it was called Sushi Mac. However, the service has become terrible. During my recent visit, I wanted to place a to-go order worth over $60, and when I asked for extra packets of spicy mayo, the server told me that I could only have two packets. Keep in mind that these were tiny packets, and I needed them for more than five plates of sushi. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, she was unresponsive and told me to leave. So, I decided to take my money back and leave. In addition to this, the quality of fish served here is subpar, and they charge exorbitant prices for it. It's almost comical how they try to pass it off and charge sugar fish prices lol Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. It's a definite hard pass.

Great place for sushi and anything to do with sashimi but I think the portion is too small and the price is not. If you go for the taste, just go! But if consider the price too, probably you’ll need twice the budget. I ordered a few separate plates and the chef combined everything into the large plate (called family plate or something). What’s inside is not the original family plate. I usually spend $25 for a full meal in LA but, here, it’s actually like $50 for me alone to get full. The sashimi pieces are pretty small. The poke bowl was also small. The roll, also, very small. They have macaron ice cream in a mango flavor but I think it tastes 100% more like melon. Yuzu drink was good! Free parking! No validation! Restaurant has parking lot which is great considered the area it’s in.
