The worst customer service experience ever in USA!!!! i was there this wednesday on march 8 at 7:30 pm talked to 2 people at customer service desk.i believe her name was Liz she was very polite and she tried to help me out but the manager on duty Mishell if i'm not mistaken she was very rude to me and not helpful at all. let me tell you what happened. i placed on order online while i was at home in PA items very delivered to my friends house in Los Angeles, CA. i ordered a car seat which i thought we not allowed to take on board but later we found out that we can take it with us for no charge.but i placed an order and it was on its way. So i thought i will just bring it to the nearest target store and return it. and that what i actually did. i brought a huge box of this car seat to the store at Beverly Hills Connection with the receipt. and they started the process and told me system is not finding anything . and suggests me to call customer service. i said if your system is not reading my receipt why i have to call them and what should i tell them. so they called and said that i need to ship this box with usps thats the only way to get my money back. i said i'm leaving tonight to PA and it's 7:30 pm everything is closed already.then i asked them if i can possibly get a store credit and manager said we don't sell this item in store we cant give you anything for this. so i spent 1 hour at this store asking if someone higher then you can come to the desk they said there are nobody else then this woman michelle. but i know they lied to me becouse girl from customer service Liz said that there is another manager who don't want to come to the desk. well i left my car seat at parking lot at the mall since i had my flight back home at 11:35. So Target what can you tell me????? i would never shop again at target not my friends not my family. i need my...
Read moreI purchased a set of wrenches. They were the only pack of wrenches left in the store. When I got home, I held up the box and realized the largest wrench in the set was too small for my shower head. I never even opened the case. I put the entire case back in the Target bag, collected the receipt and attempted to return the item. The associate accused me of stealing some of the wrenches out of the case and trying to return the remainder.
Absolutely ridiculous. I admit I am clueless when it comes to tools or handywork so I had no idea how many were in the set or what the set was supposed to look like.
I stated to the associate that it must have been sold to me in that condition as I never even opened the case (nor did I know how to or have any need to open as I could see that it was too small by observation alone).
I understand that the item could not be returned and I accept responsibility for not educating myself on how the case should appear with the full set prior to purchasing. What I do not accept is the suspicion and being accused of theft by one of your employees. I am a dentist with a six figure salary. To be accused of stealing a $30 item is absolutely absurd, disgusting, and extremely offensive.
I will never patronize Target again, whether online or in-store. Please educate your staff on inspecting items upon check-out to ensure they have not been tampered with and to have some tact when a paying customer has been a victim of such an act. It is no wonder that we have had to become so reliant on online retailers when this is the lack of service available to us with the...
Read morePossibly the worst customer service I've ever received. Prior to entering the parking garage, there is no signage of the required $20 fee to waive the parking fee. I ordered online and was told that the $20 must be on one receipt. Even if I ordered $15 online and $5+ in store, I would not be given validated parking. The two women at the online pickup desk were incredibly ruse when I inquired and asked where the parking lot stated this. She pointed to a sign and said the policy changed last month. I don't live in the area and have never been to this location. How would I know about a policy change? I was told that this wasn't her problem and there's noting she could do to help. She just pointed to the sign and said pay $20 for something or pay for parking. Lots of eye rolls, long sighs, and irritation. The Target app or parking entrance should post this policy in a clear way. It's completely unfair to not allow a customer that didn't know the policy to pay for parking and not allow them to stack their receipts. Receiving an attitude when you're just trying to figure out the policy is even worse.
Adding- I originally marked my order for pick up from the car but I couldn't find any signage for car delivery. The parking lot was...
