Updated update: Still amazing. High quality everything and substantial portions of food. Again, get the sandwich instead of the wrap. The bread soaks up the meat drippings and mixes with the sauces as you make your way through. The wrap can't do that. It also doesn't taste as good. Spicy sauce + white garlic sauce. I jam French fries in mine as I go. UPDATE: finally back 2 yrs later and Berlins is better than I remember. Words don't do justice. Get the doner Sandwich instead of the wrap. The bread is integral. Original review: For 15 years I have been seeking a German style döner. This is it. Everything is perfect. The bread, veggies, sauces and meat are absolutely delicious. Each element is essential, probably the bread most of all. You can't buy this type of bread in a store as far as I know. FINALLY, a place worthy of return. In fact, if they opened up anywhere near San Francisco, I'd probably eat there every single day. Give it up for the owners of this place. Please come to the SF Bay Area. I'll be the biggest hype man.

I really wanted to like this place and wanted to go for so long. Unfortunately they have the worst customer service ever. I came in today with my toddler. He was crying. The music was soooo loud - I don’t know if they want to be a nightclub or a food place? When they finally turned the music down a little bit the woman behind the counter gave us an attitude. Unbelievable. After we ordered she turned the music DOUBLE as loud as it was and rolled her eyes because my baby was crying. Which did not help with my crying toddler. As a self employed woman with 15 employees myself this is an unacceptable behavior! As a mother (!!!) I was totally disappointed by so little understanding by another woman. The food itself was okay and the taste was good. But $15 including tips is a lot for a thin layer of chicken, one thin slice tomato and two slices cucumber & lettuce.

Came here on a Thursday evening around 6 to grab dinner. It’s impossible to find Berliner-style döner kebab in the US, so I have to try it when I see it. It’s a small shop with limited seating and the folks working there were incredibly friendly. I put in an order at the counter for the beef and lamb Döner sandwich with feta and the spicy sauce as well as a side of pita and garlic aioli. The flavor was a thing of beauty, I haven’t had anything as good as this since my first time having Berliner-style döner in 2014 in Europe. It tasted so good that I went back and put in an order for a chicken Döner sandwich with feta and spicy sauce. This one was also incredible. So glad I came here and will definitely seek it out again the next time I’m in LA. Highly, highly, highly recommend coming here!

I have been there multiple times and always enjoyed the food but I’ve never experienced such bad customer service til today and towards a little toddler! My friend and I came by with her little toddler and the little one unfortunately was not feeling well because he’s teething! We got in there and the music was so loud we couldn’t even understand our own word! After we asked to turn the music down so we could order the lady working behind the register rolled her eyes. We ordered and waited for our food and my friends little toddler continued crying bc he didn’t feel well. Then the service lady turned up the volume double as much as it even was at the beginning obviously annoyed by the little kid crying! If you don’t know but this is not helping the situation of calming down a toddler!!! It’s making it worse! She rolled her eyes and gave us the meanest look! It’s a kid! How dare you! I hope you are never in a position where your kid cries and you just want it to calm down and people just look down on you! We won’t...

I got the fry box, with the beef and lamb I think, and cheeses on top...

They loaded it with meat, and all the ingredients tasted very fresh. Even the sauces I chose tasted very clean, and house made.

But, maybe I should have chosen the wrap, because the thick cut fries, who you'd expect to be the star of the show, taste as if they had 0 seasonings on them. And little to no texture other than thick and starchy.

The meat was super flavorful, and well seasoned, so I was so surprised to not even really taste the salt on these fries.

Honestly, they should season the fries and meat the same way, and use thinner crispier fries, because the center will always be bland in a thick cut.

Otherwise, it would have been a 9/10 for me, I appreciate how filling it was.. But I'll have to give it like a 7/10 this time. Still good, and fairly.. reasonably priced.

Next time I'll test the wrap!

Definitely will be back!

(Oh, and no one here is trained to pick up phones.....
