Super friendly service, but very high prices. Unfortunately, I feel like the quality doesn’t equal the price. For example, I bought a chocolate chip cookie that looked beautiful but was vastly under seasoned. I’m not saying you have to go super heavy on the salt like Milk Bar cookies can tend to do, but you do have to add salt, especially if your cookie seems to use unsalted butter and no brown sugar like this cookie did. However, the bittersweet chocolate dessert with a little bit of gold on top looked nice and was very rich tasting.
It seems like an okay option if you’re only walking, but there are lots of great bakeries a short drive away that are more reasonably priced and consistently excellent, and a huge number of really great coffee shops right around the corner on larchmont. I do hope their pastries improve because the location, service, and...
Read moreWriting this review based off of one drink I had there — I’d definitely would love to go back and try their pastries and cakes, everything looked so good and fresh and the pastries looked HUGE. I believe their pastries taste sweet and good so hence the four stars. The ambience is nice. I had an iced matcha latte with oat milk and it tasted pretty average, more like homemade matcha made with the powder. Not the best matcha I’ve had but it did its job so I’d rate it a 3 star matcha. The cafe itself I would rate it four stars — it’s a good little cafe to stop by if you live within walking distance, great place to do some work and car watch by the window. The service was good and people seemed kind, the shop is cute and the bathroom is really clean. They have little goodies against the wall - nuts and stuff...

Inside the glass cases, they had individual lemon cakes, coconut cakes, and a caramel apple cheesecake that I eeny-meeny-miney-mo'd over. By individual cakes, I mean like shareable with one or two others. In fact, the caramel apple cheesecake wasn't just a little bit of delish on top, it had caramel and apple layers inside too! They also had fresh croissants, quiches, cupcakes, pecan bars, lemon bars, and full-sized cakes, as well. All this, plus the aroma of freshly brewed espresso wafting through the air. I was in heaven.
NOTE: It's right next door to The Edmon, the Great Gatsbyesque historical...
