Tacos El Vampiro — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Tacos El Vampiro is located here in the city of Sylmar. They are a family-owned business. I began coming here since they were street vendors. Let me say from the first time I tried the food here it was like love at first bite.

They used to post up Thursday to Sunday on glen oaks and Herron but now they have an actual location here in the shopping center. It's beautiful to see this restaurant working together as a family. The staff makes you feel like your family.

The food here is outstanding ranging from tacos to quesadillas. They also do keto tacos for those who are watching their weight. I highly recommend them. They are savory with lots of fresh ingredients. The salsa bar is nice too. You can get from mild to spicy depending on your preference.

They have indoor dining or a cute outdoor area that lights up around 6 pm super cute. I love the tacos de al pastor with grilled pineapple and jalapeño. This spot can get busy so you can order online or by phone. Trust me tacos...

There's more than enough parking when you get there. Place is clean, easy to find, there is outdoor and indoor seating. The staff is polite, not rushing you, and they nicely answer any questions you have about the menu items. Their aguas frescas are consistently delicious, I usually get the jamaica and the pineapple aguas. They have keto tacos and crunchy tripas which are the best. My husband took me to tacos el vampiro. All our food we ordered was freshly done. Service here is friendly and welcoming. We ordered the quesadillas one was with all meat and the other was with chorizo and two tacos de cabeza and one taco de carne asada. Not only that the gave is free bean tostadas.
