This place is a winner!!!
Before I gave in to trying Tender Greens, non-business lunches during the week consisted of pizza, plain sandwiches, and maybe the occasional supermarket takeout from Bristol, if one of us in the office volunteered to drive.
Now with Tender Greens being in our office 'hood, it's definitely become the go-to spot of choice!!!
Sure, some may say a salad's a salad, but really--this place has got the formula down. From the freshly grilled meats (steak, chicken, ahi tuna) in their open kitchen that you can see and smell, to their fresh organic lettuce, spinach, arugula and all the fixings, it's hard for me to order salads anywhere else now.
The added bonus of Tender Greens is that it's an order-at-the-counter-then-bring-food-to-your-table sort of place, so you can get in and out really fast.
The pricing is definitely within the range of a neighborhood deli, but their produce quality is definitely better than even some of the nicer restaurants in town. If it's your first time there--definitely give the Cobb Salad a try--it's filled to the brim with all the standard toppings, but something about their Cobb makes it more filling than a normal salad.
The only reason why this place is just short of five stars is that they make it a little difficult to veer off the menu without charging a few more dollars for extras (which can get expensive REALLY fast). My friend added some additional toppings to her salad, and ended up with an $18 salad that was originally $11 or $12. But that being said, this place is definitely worth giving a try. Oh, and also, they serve beer and bottles of wine too!
Special Tip: If you're going there during peak lunch hours, you can call ahead and skip the line to pick up your salad! That plus the FREE PARKING LOT next door (during the day) makes this place a new default in my...
Read moreLadies and Gentlemen call OSHA and Corporate. Before writing a review it says, “Share your experience with this place” There’s no way to go about this besides just being straight up. If you like tender greens and their food then I STRONGLY suggest that you go to any other location. This Tendergreens is a horribly run establishment that has existed for far TOO long without any real consequences. If you are against sexism, DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT come here. If you are against Sexual harassment DO NOT COME HERE, if you DON’T want bugs or pubes in your food, then DO NOT come here. Lord knows why they got rid of Chef Roy, Chef Frank, Chef Emma and Chef Alexander. To Priscilla Lopez, this isn’t the job for you and when your kids are put in this position and you feel helpless then it will be your own karma to all these young men and women who you HARASS AND CONTROL like puppets. These are someone’s kids. FIRE DONALD OR SEND HIM AWAY. Send him to a tender greens that takes everything seriously then you will see. I’m sorry but it’s no wonder Sharleen gets more respect than you. My review will surely get removed but the truth is out there. If you have social media, please spread awareness and if anyone had the neighborhood app and saw the pictures and videos about what this place got away with then you know why this place has to go. God help us. Rest In...

I can say enough positive things about this place. The food is super excellent, the atmosphere is chill and the environment noise to me is quiet considering. The music always pleasing as well. I seen people complain about the portions sizes but I can assure you that if you everything including the slide of toasted bread, you'll be more than satisfied with this meal. These meals bring you to the point right before for full and it's AMAZING!
My first review and my first time (9 months ago) being here wasn't that great because of the selection of my entree, which was the Happy Vegan salad. I think the salad is good but it does have a lot of "carbs" on it and it is hard to eat.
Since then I have been enjoying the chicken plates with a kale salad and Brussels sprouts ... game changer... kale salad as a side is beastly and as the right amount of crunch but also soft. Brussels sprouts are delicious.. slight spice to them but not spicy.
The salt and pepper chicken and the chipotle BBQ chicken is on point and usually tender. I would watch out for those thicker pieces because the can be a little dry but...
