The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Was at Childrens Hospital 4-21-25. When i was ready to order after being aside looking at the menu , i headed to the register. The two workers that day were having a conversation. They saw me there ready to order and looked displeased with my presence because apparently i must have interrupted a conversation during WORKING hours. I waited until they were ready to take my order i did not even interrupt . The girl who took my order was not kind at all. It was my first time ordering at a coffee bean so i asked if they had anything like a vanilla frappucino she sighed and said “ yeah its the blended drink” i was like well okay then let me get that. She was overall not patient. Mind you there was no one else there but myself. Once the drink was ready a girl who had blonde hair slided the drink over and rolled her eyes again. I do not understand these girls attitude simply because i ordered. Like where they mad they had to blend a drink?!. Regardless of their attitude i was kind and said my please and thank you’s. Just overall a very confusing...

ZERO STARS!!! October 2022-Worst customer service and baristas. I ordered an iced coffee and it was extremely watered down and filled with ice. I told the guy about it and he gave me attitude, as if it was an inconvenience to him. Dude, I paid, I'm not asking for for freebies here. Horrible, especially being inside a hospital, they should be more friendly and approachable.

May 2023- I stopped by here again, but this time it was for a cup of ice water, the same guy was there and said it was $.25 , which is fine but unfortunately I didn't have any cash or coins om me. There are 2 Coffee Bean locations inside CHLA. One is next to the gift shop and the other is next to the cafeteria. These are restricted access locations so you have to first check in with the hospital entrance before you can proceed to Coffee Bean. Otherwise, it is very convenient for hospital staff. They accept the Coffee Bean app. It costs extra for anything other than regular whole milk in your coffee, iw: half and half, almond milk, etc. they have boba now which is absolutely delicious and you can add it for only $1...
