Always looking for a unique approach to cocktails, Tiki Ti fell generously into my lap during a random Google search for bars when I was visiting Los Feliz. While not ‘unique’ in a cocktail sense, the vibe and decor of this little gem along with the luscious and potent drinks, made for a great one hour visit. 70’s kitsch and Hawaiian Tiki vibes flood the small space, the Love Boat was playing on a small television set above the door. Interesting mix of oldies wearing Hawaiian shirts and a few younger hipsters made for a chill vibe. Other than a rather standoffish bartender, seems to be an LA thing I encountered the last three nights I’ve been visiting-broken dreams and tired of the service industry perhaps(?), I dug the place and experience. Also, I switched bartenders and was met with a more jovial and welcoming experience so it easily lands itself into a 5 star rating in my book. Would’ve stayed longer but 2 drinks kicked me pretty hard and got me hankering for sushi. Take your time drinking and you can easily spend an enjoyable evening with a date or friends in this...

I love a good tiki bar! I try to sniff out a good one in every big city that I visit. Thankfully, I live in LA and I found this one. I’ve been to three other tiki bars in the area and this is definitely my favorite one, so far!

It’s super small, but we only had to wait about 20 minutes for two people to get in at around 6 o’clock on a Saturday.

In short, they have a really nice selection of tiki drinks. We had three different varieties each and liked them all. They are very strong, so definitely drink responsibly!

The decor is what I would expect from a tiki bar Dash cluttered and overdone! Makes for a great ambience. And, it’s actually a pretty cool vibe when they pull out the bull and run it down the bar. There is a mixed crowd Dash young and old. Feels like a cozy neighborhood bar.

I definitely plan on returning!

The only slight con that I will mention is their presentations are not as extravagant as some tiki bars. Pretty much all of the drinks I saw were served in standard bar glasses. Only a few were served in...

Toro! Toro!!Toro!!! A true L.A. Original dive here in our own city. Go for the experience, ambiance, decor, and of course The Drinks! Location on East Sunset Blvd...Hollywood. Place is simple...but truly rocks! You make your way in and decor inside takes you to another time...place....over 50 years a mainstay...Impresive to say least. The bar tenders are owners 3 Generations making you the best drinks...some you never herd of..original taste...name..and genuine perfection. Tunes are blaring as you mingle..catching your surroundings....and all sudden someone orders "Blood and Sand"..and place comes alive...with bartender pouring the liquor to drink as he calls out.."Toro....Toro...Toro!!" The more people yell...the more he pours. Lol....fun. You'll Love this place...great date or friends experience...music...old t.v. classics playing on screen. The bartenders are friendly and Great!!! Order from a menu of classic drinks to every taste...my fav's..ever classic "Chi Chi" A true...

Tiki culture was birthed in Los Angeles with legendary venues, such as Don the Barchcomber nearly a century ago. But thanks to places like the Tiki Ti in East Hollywood, tiki culture is still alive & well in Los Angeles.
