Omg! I LOVE this place. Regular deep tissue massages will never be the same for me. I went here back in May 2022. While visiting LA, we decided to go and get massages. I love deep tissue massages but I got soooo much more. I wish I remember what I got exactly and who massaged me (I think it might have been a combo of Thai and deep tissue). When you first go in they do ask you to fill out papers and check off what hurts, what your medical history is, and then they Taylor everything according to your pain. Anyways, the lady that massaged me was experienced and strong. She stood on top of me working into my muscles, massaged me with her hands, and then rolled me around to stretch me out. I was flexible for awhile. I didn’t feel so much pain anymore. I’m normally super stiff and I have chronic back pain. The massage really helped me. I wished I lived closer. It was a 90 minute massage and my chronic pain was little to none for 3 weeks. I’m impressed and would visit again.
The lady did request me to take my clothes off but leave my undies on. I know not everyone is comfortable with that but when you’ve been in so much pain, all of that does not matter. But go with your level of comfort. I was okay with taking my clothes off to get the most out of the massage and I do not regret one bit. I know my friends kept their clothes on but they also got different massages than me also. at the time I paid close to 140-150? The...
Read moreSimply put: the best Thai massage I have found in Los Angeles CA. I have been twice, I experienced two different masseuses, and BOTH times I left feeling completely worked over, total body devastation, IN A GOOD WAY! They turned me into jelly, which my body desperately needed.
On my most recent visit my therapist was fantastic and I am completely comfortable recommending her. She spoke English perfectly, which seems to be not common at these Thai massage businesses, she understands THE LANGUAGE OF THE BODY. She gave me the pressure I needed and checked in with me to make sure it was okay. You could tell her hands and feet were experienced and she was responding to the feedback my body was giving her without my having to speak it out loud. (Which is good, given that I was face down for at least half the time.)
Whatever screening process they use for their staff, whatever school or training academy they are recruiting them from (presumably somewhere in Thailand, but who knows) it's working.
I booked a 90-minute session, which included 30 minutes of foot reflexology, and I have to tell you, probably the best massage in my life. I went in a ball of tension and I left feeling like a blissed out quivering...
Read moreI visited The Red Pearl Thai Massage yesterday what I was intending to get was a relaxing deep tissue massage. What I got was a painful 90min horrible experience. The masseuse was very rough to the point where I was raising out of the bed. I asked her more than a handful of times if she could stop being so rough. Let's just say she didn't. After the 90min massage was over, I felt like I needed a body cast, because I could barely walk, from the back and leg pain I was having. It was a horrible experience and I could have used the $100 I spent on something way more fulfilling. To top this horrible experience off, when I finished the massage, I waited in the front lobby for my friend to come out. The front receptionist and the masseuse stood at the counter and stared at me as I was getting ready to sit down, and said... Aren't you going to leave a tip. I was livid. Why would I leave a tip for a service that I was totally not satisfied with. I will NEVER visit this place again. Horrible...
