What a horrible experience. DO NOT eat here! Service is slow, and the bottle blonde cashier with the tattoos is very rude. I ordered a Chesse burger with large fries. This restaurant offers a combo of their burger orders which adds a soft drink. The cashier offered the combo, I declined. The combos are priced at $7.99. As a side note this business charges an absorbent fee for using a credit or debit card of .89 cents. I didn’t have cash on me a passed my business credit card. After an abnormally long wait to run a card. The cashier says “it’s not working”. I politely told her to run it again. Of which she was not happy about for some reason. She held my card for what had to be 5 plus minutes. Finally another cashier brings my cards and a receipt to sign and one to keep. That when I notice she has charged me for a combo!! $7.99 I asked her about it and she became defiant, defensive and rude. I tried to tell you to buy the combo. ??? Made no sense at all. Then she purposely made me wait while other orders were filled that were taken after mine. Lastly, none of the workers wear hats or hair nets to protect from hair droppings. The cashiers don’t wash their hands after touching money and the register before they handle food. I was never rude nor did I ever raise my voice. I will simply never ever patronize this...
Read moreI have never visited this establishment before. Today around 1 pm, my girlfriend and I decided to try out this Tom's Jr., on Hoover and Florence, since we pass by it every day. We went through the drive thru and ordered a bean and cheese burrito, a breakfast burrito, two Orange Bangs and we decided to try out their Biscuits and Gravy. While waiting for our order, I asked the older Latina working the drive thru window, "What was the difference between this Tom's Jr., and the Tom's Jr. on Florence and Vermont ". Her response was, "They are family. Each restaurant sells different types of food." We got our order, thanked the lady and drove off. My girlfriend proceeded to try the Biscuits and Gravy. Then, she asked me to taste the gravy. I got a sour taste. Indicating the gravy was spoiled. My girlfriend agreed. I turned around and made my way back to Tom's Jr., on Florence and Hoover. I went inside and handed the younger Latina worker the Styrofoam plate. I told her the gravy is spoiled. I want my money back. If not, I will make a call to The Health Department. I got my money back. No apologies. Tom's Jr. on Florence and Vermont, serves better food. And, the service is much better. I know I buy from them often. Tom's Jr. on Florence and Hoover is not good...
Read moreExcellent customer service in drive thru. With a great select specials, otherwise the rest of the menu is overpriced. Re: Sanitation, the staff do NOT wear gloves while prepping or cooking food, i witnessed, and personal Turn off for me in "fast food" because i expect a fast food chain to fast (semi) cleanse under fingernails also. No exaggeration, I took a bite of the "paradise" chicken sammy (chicken, cheese, bacon on sourdough) and broke out in hives 15/20 min later. It was tasty!!!!! buttt....Im certainly a "mature" and i DO NOT, Nor NEVER had ANY food allergies! ONLY nature, bugs (poison, tiks, mold, mice dander, spiders, roaches). Not saying what this place may or may not have, but, personally, I only encounter skin hives when introduced to a foreign (to me) species, not sure what others are used to, exposed to. Therfore something/an ingriedient was subpar. I can handle misquitos, pollen etc, but this was different. My hives resolved after about 90 min of continuous water. Will NEVER...
