Tom's Number 5 Chiliburgers — Restaurant in Los Angeles

The food was really good today, kind of disappointed with the service. The man who took my order when relaying to the Cook told him to make me a chili cheeseburger w no cheese, then they all 3 proceeded to laugh about it and comment on it. I asked for a chili burger plain WITH cheese but felt so embarrassed I did not want to go back to the window. I usually come in the pm, this is the 3rd time I've come in the am. Though polite at the window staff should refrain from making fun of orders, regardless if u r talking in Spanish which I a black girl does. SMH, the food was great which was the only thing that saved this experience, probably won't be coming again though simply 4 being ridiculed when they were the ones who got my order...

The food is pretty good but it’s unfortunate that the staff steals/falsely charges the customers. The double cheeseburger is supposed to be 13.50 plus tax so about 14-14.50. They snuck in a $1 charge for dressing which he never disclosed but still that puts it at about $15-15.50 then they do a credit card charge of $.64 bringing it to a total of $16.52. However, they charged my card $17.18 when confronted about it the guy got aggressive and started yelling. I know the charge on my card isn’t that different from the total (about .50) but what should have be a $14-$15 meal jumped up $2 without any explanation is shady business. This was my childhood spot I remember always coming here for the best burgers and breakfast on town and it had been probably over 15 yrs that i had not been here until now and it was saddening to have been such a disappointment, first their prices are outrages now buy that I can understand because of the increase I'm food supply but the burger I was served was poorly prepared and not tasty at all it was dry and the onion rings were hard and the other plate I got was also bad it was just not the same place that I remembered and I will never be back if I'm going to pay $10 to $12 for a cheeseburger I rather go to five guys were I get a delicious thick fresh burger for about...
