Just moved to the neighborhood and decided to drop by here and see how it was. My usual test for a coffee shop is how they do their regular drop brew. If it's good, I know everything else about it will be good. Why? Because if you don't pay attention to the simplest of details, then you won't pay attention to the complicated stuff. And, their basic brew is tasty, and, at a really good price. Someday when the mood strikes me I'll grab a mocha, latte, or one of their signature drinks. They even do fresh-baked pastries, which are hard to resist when you smell them coming right out of the oven early in the morning.
As for the space itself, it's cozy and friendly. The staff is fun to chat with and there's enough room to sit and work. The wi-fi is good, and during the day parking is pretty easy to find either in front (pay) or in the surrounding neighborhoods. From what I understand, they even do nightly dinners for a good price.
If you happen to be in, live in, or go to this part of LA, I'd recommend stopping...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI never leave any reviews anywhere but this place is horrible. The cook and cashier give a bad attitude towards the community people they're in, I've seen it happening twice and the service is a lot different when it comes to a person who doesn't seem to have a lot of money. They probably just pick this location because of the busy area, not the people. I suggest just going next door where there is a bakery that has been there for years and it's run by nice locals and not gentrifiers. Edit: itās funny how they always get upset instead of even try to look at the problem, it always sounds like a 10 year old is in charge of reviewing this. You probably know your workers come out as racist but donāt care since that youāre probably worse. And Iāve seen your customers, nothing but white hipsters paying for overpriced coffee...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI like the concept of this coffee shop. Like the hip happy vibe they give off. The disgusting hate from the community makes me want to come here more often. As should you. I live in Gardena but heard about it through a mutual friend of someone who lives around here.hate is the enemy it's completly gross how people can be so racist. There trying to better there lives and bring those happy vibes. People need to accept change. I hope more people start going . Let's fight racism and support this coffee shop! I hope to come here more often. I feel so bad for the people that work here to have to deal with these haters but they'll get jobs eventually or do something with there life and leave eventually unless they wind up in jail. Keep up the good vibes & work. I am not racist,I fully support weird...
