First things first: Yoshinoya does NOT serve JAPANESE FOOD! To put it another way:
If you consider the food at Taco Bell to be "Mexican" food, then YOU will probably think that a beef bowl is "Japanese".NEWSFLASH, it's NOT-it is not even Asian.
That said, this particular location is worthy of your drive. Their (New England style) clam chowder is better than average.
You may have gathered by now that I am not a huge Yoshinoya fan, which I am not. I did not choose to eat here, a client suggested it so I figured I'd have to take one for the company and choke something down. I am pleased to report that I was wrong.
The five star rating is mostly due to their employee, Krystine. It truly amazes me how much a single person can impact your shopping experience. From her warm greeting to insightful suggestions (she recommended the chowder, good call!) and her initiative! While ordering, I had inadvertently ordered a "vegetarian chicken bowl", she diplomatically corrected my gaff and made me laugh, too!

People eating that food like that,cold,with wring tempeture,people will get sick. This happen on Friday 7th July 2017 at restaurant yoshinoya on Sunland by Rosco,close to Fwy 5. At 9:20 pm my wife and I we order 2 chicken bowl well done, the cashier say I do not have well done.I replay to her ,why not, she say because shot dawn the grilled,I say why you shot dawn the grilled if you closed at 10:00pm,and she say because we need too clean it before closing the please,when this should be after you close,not before.
