The hubby and I frequent the Aptos location when we visit the in-laws, then we had a recent opportunity to dine at their Scotts Valley location……and now, they have come to their senses and made their way into our little town of Los Gatos. Yay!
I have to say, their menu is slightly different from the other two locations but that’s ok; the food is still delish. They don’t have the tandoori mixed grill which is a sizzling platter of lamb, chicken and a few other items. The staff said they can still make it for us, so maybe we will order it next time.
This restaurant has a full bar so that’s nice. The hubby had a chai white Russian and I had a double espresso martini. I usually don’t like my espresso martini as light as it appeared, but again, VERY tasty and let me tell you, both were BOOZY; definitely a bang for your buck.
A few things we ordered: chana masala (garbanzo beans), raita (yogurt based sauce), naan (garlic and plain), and a the seafood mix. We usually do butter chicken or tikka chicken but wanted to try something different.
Thank you to Annand and Raj for making our first experience great. Both were very friendly and super attentive. Raj noticed we still had a little food left but were out of rice and naan, so he brought us just a tiny bit more rice for us to help finish off what we had. I was taking photos of the food (for this review) and Annand asked if we wanted a photo of ourselves, but we declined the offer. It was really nice of him to ask though, we appreciated it.
Love this place and will definitely be back.

Read moreWe dined as a party of four at this restaurant for lunch today. Upon arrival, we were given the choice to dine inside or on the patio. With the pleasant weather in Los Gatos, we opted to sit outside.
We started with the Stuffed Mushroom, Fusion Avocado Salad, and Chingari Paneer Tikka as appetizers. The starters were delicious and expertly prepared, with the paneer being particularly fresh and perfectly cooked.
For the main course, we ordered Butter Naan, Garlic Naan, Artichoke and Cheese Naan, Brown Basmati Rice, Stuffed Eggplant, Kadai Paneer, and Veggie Butter Chicken. All the dishes met our expectations and was absolutely scrumptious. The flavors were on point. The restaurant offers a great ambiance with views of the mountains, making it the perfect spot for enjoying authentic Indian cuisine. If you find yourself in Los Gatos, this restaurant is a must-visit.

Read moreMy friend and I had dinner at Ambrosia and it was amazing. The food was rich in flavor, with authentic Indian spices that really stood out. We started with the Basil Prawn Skewers—perfectly cooked and super fresh.
Our server Subash, who was also the bartender, recommended the Minty Guava Refresher, and it was hands down one of the best tequila cocktails I’ve ever had—refreshing and unique.
For mains, we had the Chicken Dum Biryani, Garlic Naan, Rack of Lamb, and Mango Chicken. Everything was delicious, especially the lamb and mango chicken. The sweet-spicy combo was spot on, and the biryani was packed with flavor.
Prices may seem a bit higher than other restaurants, but the quality, service, and ambiance make it totally worth...
