Arby's — Restaurant in Louisiana

REALLY surprised, in the best way, with this experience. The friendly cashier, Regina, was super helpful guiding me in deciding exactly what I wanted from this huge menu of delicious looking food, and it did not disappoint. I hadn’t even finished filling my drink and getting extra Arby’s sauce when she came over with my tray of food! And it was hot & delicious. I think Arby’s might be the only place around where the food you get looks and tastes as good as it looks in the pictures. But the experience was what was beyond expectations on this visit to Nola. This girl who was so efficient behind the counter takes care of her last customer at the register, then heads into the dining area to ask people how things are going and offering to grab their empty trays and wipe down empty tables. Am I really in Arby’s? This is service that used to be fairly common back before this young lady was even born, but seldom seen anymore. But here she was with a smile on her face talking to customers like she owned the place and was genuinely happy to see them stop by. Never been to this location prior to this but it isn’t worth going to. Walked in on a Sunday afternoon, and was basically ignored. Finally an employee walked up (can’t tell you who because she didn’t have a name tag on) and very reluctantly asked me what I wanted. I ordered a number 11 and she never asked if I wanted Greek or roast beef then told me a total. I then informed her I wanted Greek and asked if that total was for combo? She then added the combo without asking what size I wanted and snapped out another total. I informed her I need more to the order and she rolled her eyes and took the rest of the order.

Finally got my order, in pieces but it eventually all got to me. When I open the sandwich it had tomatoes although I ordered no tomatoes and the fries were cold. I went to get some Arby’s sauce but the dispenser was empty. I went to the counter and asked for some and they acted so annoyed that I asked for some that it made me actually feel like I did something wrong.

I would avoid this location unless they make some big changes in policy or some staff changes. It might get better...

Went to Lakeside Mall today. I live 20 miles away and deceided to stop by and get the roast beef sandwich on Hawaiian bread due to tv advertising. I have not eaten Arby's in a long time. My order was a sandwich, a 4 piece motzeralla stick and a side or gravy. went through drive thru order 2 packes horsey sauce and 2 packs bar-b-q sauce, which makes the food more palitable. drive thru told me to pull up and wait. Big mistake that I did not check the bag before driving off. Did not get a reciept or sauces or the fries I did not order and was charged for. I Looked at my bank statement online and was charged $11.08. Called and spoke to a mananger( Maria). Told me she saw the order and I had order fries also. Told her I did not order fries or recieved fries but got charged for fries. I can see why Arby's is a dying breed and not many are left. I work in customer service and I did not get any today. How much does it take to get an order right and not be over charged in the process??? Will never go...
