CAVA — Restaurant in Louisiana

My 1st time at CAVA the 1st person I met was Logan. Logan was very pleasant, very very patient, and respectful. I told Logan it was my 1st time at Cava he welcomed me with a smile and knowledge of how Cava operates. I ordered a chicken & rice bowl. Logan was very patient and let me sample the sauces. He helped me choose a green. So, I was thinking that Logan was going to make my whole order i found out differently. Then, I met Sophia who gave me a weird look like I didn't belong there and she didn't speak to me at all. So, Sophia was about to start fixing my food the way the chicken and rice bowl comes i told her wait I wanted her to point out what comes on it. I felt her frustration and she looks at Logan for approval of i guess should she be nice. So, she gave me some samples thank God cause it was 2 things I didn't like. First starting off Sophia was plating my food presentable then as I look at the way she was throwing my topping on top. I was very nervous and felt uncomfortable. I kept looking at Logan, because his spirit, and attitude made me feel welcomed. So, I order some pita bread and had to wait. I had preferred to wait on fresh bread. When I paid for my order Sophia didn't bag my food. So, I figure CAVA don't give bags. So, I sat down waiting on my pita bread wondering why she didn't give me a bag. I saw a white old couple she was very nice to and my nephew says they do have bags she just gave the old couple one. Sophia knew my food was to go. Sophia came to the table brought the bread and after hearing me and my nephew talking she gave me some hummus for my pita bread for waiting. I then went to the counter and asked Logan if they gave bags, and he said, "Yes, we have bags. Sophia didn't give you a bag?" I said, "No." Sophia didnt want me to have that Cava bag. They way she shrug her shoulders in frustration to turn around and give it to me with the facial expression she had made me look around the place to see what could be the reason she was treating me the way she was. I smiled and this is is 1st time being nice to me. I was scared to eat my food or the hummus. I waited until 8pm that night. I gave the Hummas away cause I didn't trust Sophia caise i didn't see her make it. My nephew said don't eat it cause that first smile scared us after not speaking at all when 1st meeting. My food was delicious. I bust out lol🤣 how good it was and the way that Sophia just threw the toppings on there. I was at home screaming Sophia girl it was good. I was like Thank you for Logan with the patients. The only reason I didn't throw my food away because of Logan I went ahead and ate it. Yes, Cava is excellent 10☆ and so is Logan. Thank you Logan and kudos Sophia cause u had made me feel very uncomfortable but the way she topped my food in the order going around the bowl was great tasting and delicious. Thank you! Yesterday 2/16/2025 I went to Cava a night around 9:20pm I hadn't eating nothing but a pudding all day to save my appetite for Cava. I didnt buy anything to eat because they were closing at 10pm. The food looked very untasteful and dry and just bad. I knew that could possibly be that way because they are closing so I didn't get anything last night because the food wasn't...

I have been coming here for lunch for about 2 years now I believe? Ever since they opened up. The manager is extremely nice and friendly, staff is as well the food is good but it's the people that keep me coming back especially on hard days. The food is very healthy, it's big enough for to help beans as well if you get the bowl, the falafels are you as well you can literally have two meals if you cut those in half and save the other half for later. The chicken and rice bowl is around $11 so if you just get water that's not much at all and the bowls are big usually I could just eat half and save the other half for later and have lunch and supper for a very reasonable price. If you are struggling with health problems where you can't physically exercise like you used to and you want to try and maintain a good healthy diet with a good price tag this is the place you want. The drinks are also very delicious I love getting the Mexican Coke which is a good bit more healthier because it's made with cane sugar, and they also have various teas and different juices. What's not to like? The manager is always kind and professional, the staff is just as much so, the food is always good, it's for a good price, and it's healthy. What more could you want? Not sure if cava is just having a bad week or if this is their norm. I have been to cava twice this week. Once by myself and today with my wife. I have ordered pick up both times and each time they have forgotten multiple things in both orders. The first time when I went on my own they forgot my pita chips and my side of yogurt dill sauce. Unfortunately I didn’t look in the bag and only realized this after getting home. The second time with my wife my order was 20 minutes behind, which I can understand because they were busy, but I stood at the cash register for about 10 minutes before even being acknowledged that I was there, all while I’m looking at my order sitting on the counter behind the cashier. Again, they were busy so I can understand not being able to ask if I need anything, but I was looked at once or twice by the 3 people at the counter. Finally someone from the back came out and asked if that was my order and I confirmed that it was, this time I made sure to open the bag and look through it. Again, I was missing two orders of pita chips, hummus, and a side of dill sauce. Then they placed a blondie in my bag instead of the brownie that we ordered. I pulled it out and asked “this is yalls brownie.” And the person said yup that’s our brownie. This is only the 3rd time I have gotten food from cava but it’s looking like it’s going to be my last.
