Rennovations look great. Old/dry pizza on the buffet. Common pizza: pepperoni/cheese replaced frequently. Gave the place 1 star because the manager initially assisted me while paying for buffets. However, in the process of giving him my money, he took a personal call & couldn't even give me my change back or take the separateorders. Another employee had to come assist me to complete the purchases. I did not pay nor eat at the buffet. Towards the end of dining, I did however bite a piece of my nieces cinnamon roll while in "her hand". I did this right in front of management & in no way tried to hide it. He sent an employee over to accost me telling her we did not pay (the same young lady who had to finish his transactions because of his unprofessionalism & rudeness). I could hear her telling him several times that we paid. At this point you could see the uncomfortable disposition she had because he kept pushing her to come and get us. At this point I took it upon myself to approach her to find out what the issue was. I went directly to the manager who at this time told me I needed to come pay. I asked him "because of biting a cinnamon roll"? So I told him okay I will pay the cost for eating a cinnamon roll (which wasn't a whole piece). He became aggressive & stated no! This is a buffet & that I needed to pay the buffet price. He went on to state that I should pay for what I eat. I told him I agreed agreed with him 100% & that I should pay for what I eat which was part of a cinnamon roll. He then grew irrate raising his voice telling me to pay for the full buffet. I went on to explain to him how it made no sense to pay for a full buffet, especially since he had just let a couple (who appeared to be family/friends) dine for free. (SEE ATTACHED PHOTO, quite sure employees will recognize them). I reckon these were the individuals who he stopped assisting me for to take the personal call because they arrived about 15-20mins later. As soon as they entered he immediately handed the lady 2 bottles of water and they proceeded to the salad bar. The man attempted to hang back because I was near the salad bar. While at the salad bar, I inquired about items on there for my husband, who was on the phone. They were not at the cash register & the lady started talking and laughing with him. I guess they're regular customers who come in around 9:30 (near closing) & get to pay after they eat. After mentioning what I witnessed he became confrontational stating that they paid & told me to just leave! JUST GO! Wonder what the security footage will reveal around 9:22...
Read moreActually found a CiCis while in Baton Rouge and to be honest the fight the traffic to get there and the price paid for horrible food was disappointing. Ther literally was barely any pizza on the buffet and what was there was cold and old. The salad bar isn't anything special. I use to live their salad but 2 bites I pushed it away. My bf and I may have eaten a top 2 pizza slices a piece and pushed that to the side. He ordered wings that took like an hour to get to him. We were done even trying more at this point cause it didn't look appealing nor tasted. Then comes the wings . Both us swore they was raw. CiCis use to a family favorite for us back in the day but I don't know what happen but save your money, don't fight the traffic for that. The best thing we're able to get was Coke. It's wasn't all that clean as should a restaurant be by any means and it looks like they are trying copy Chucky Cheese. We both left hungry and disappointed. So it really did cost more to go there because after their prices we had to go pay for more food after we regained our appetites from the nasty food that they were serving on that bar. By the way keep in mind it's Sunday right at lunchanybody with management skills know that is the prime time to keep that bar fully stocked and ready to go your dining room clean and your extras by the fountain stocked. These were the slowest pizza makers ever. $36.42 for 2 buffets, 2 drinks, and 5 piece wing. So all that and 4 pieces of pizza ate, 2 bites of a salad, and 5 wings that were raw. E couldn't cook them when we returned to our hotel. And the app promised a coupon for half of and I still haven't seen one. If I had younger kids I wouldn't let them play, I never saw anyone outside the pizza stations. Chucky Cheese seems way cheaper, better pizza, and very clean at all times. Entire experience was a failure. Drove from Port Allen and I could eaten better back is this end... Worst thing since got there...
Read moreI come here quite often as it is near my office. So much so, that I recognize the manager - even out of the pizzeria. I visited last night, was bumped into by a patron. I quickly apologized and went about my business (went to the restroom.) I exit the restroom to see a group of men along with the Hispanic manager standing right outside the door. The manager asks me to leave; I am confused at this point but my fiancée tells me to not push the issue. I figure that the manager personally knows the aforementioned patrons as he was quick to do whatever they said. No de-escalation skills at all. I start recording for my safety up until I actually leave. As I'm leaving, I tell the manager that I come here often, know him well and will not be returning after this. The manager tells me "I'll see you on the streets and handle this," with my Louisiana attorney - fiancée next to me. Will we be filing charges for the threat? I don't know. Returning to eat here? Definitely not. PS: The manager needs to stock their advertised products. Quite funny, the thing I am recommending on this review (forced to) wasn't event available last night. I choose this place over Gatti's pizza for a reason. At this point, I could've gotten pizza closer - without getting kicked out by a manager that wants to blindly side...
