Well, for a first time I’m rather disappointed. To start our party of two was quoted a 20-25 minutes wait (which was fine) we provided a name and phone number. Neither was used though we sat outside on an unshaded bench provided by the restaurant out front and proceeded to wait 35 before coming back inside to wait because it began to get too warm out. We watched as around 3 larger parties just walking in we’re sat back to back and when they finally called us up all that was said was “we thought you guys weren’t coming, so you want to just sit in the bar before the high tops are taken?” I received NO message that a table was ready or that our wait was up. I was looking forward to seeing the dining hall but it didn’t seem to be an option anymore. We were greeted shortly after sitting by Jennifer D (learned her name from receipt not her) My friend ordered an Arnold Palmer which was said to be good and I ordered a cappuccino. If you know what to expect from a capp don’t order it looking for that here however it did come out with foam. Ordered the Shrimp and crab Ocados but wasn’t impressed for the price. I did expect a kick but there really wasn’t any heat and I personally feel the description in the menu is misleading. My friend ordered a California omelet. The server seemed excited about his choice saying it was yummy and I order the Crabcake P Benedict which she did not seem very excited about at all. Made me feel I should order something else after she left. My friend seemed pretty content with their order but found a chunk of meat in the omelet about half way through. My Poached eggs were over cooked and the creole spicy sauce was not spicy at all. It was more like a mild picante sauce. Their biscuit was good and I enjoyed the taste of the crab cake but all together the taste was bland which I was not expecting. After we finished eating we waited another 30 minutes for Jennifer to return to the table, we were ready for the check but she definitely still took her time with the process. Jennifer was sweet but overall I can’t imagine coming back for anything in particular.
Edit Just to add. They reached out here but I haven’t received a response from the email...
Read moreDo NOT order from this Copeland's through a food delivery app like, UberEATS, Postmates and DoorDash. I ordered the Crab Cakes with Shrimp Fettuccine, the Signature Cheesecake with Fresh Ripe Strawberry topping, and a Coke. My order arrived and no drink! They forgot to give the driver my Coke. I then sat down to eat, and my SHRIMP fettuccine had NO shrimp!!! The sauce was on the side. I checked the sauce and found two little fragments of a shrimp. The 2 fragments didn't even add up to a half of shrimp!!! When I began to eat, it was ice cold!!! I wanted to return it, but that's not possible through the apps. I complained to DoorDash, and they gave me credit for the drink, and a $7 credit for no shrimp. So, I paid $18 for cold noodles - and of course, 2 cold crab cakes. After microwaving my food and eating a little bit, I got to my desert... NO Fresh Ripe Strawberry topping!!! It's just a plain Signature Cheesecake. That's not what I ordered!!! I contacted DoorDash back, and they offered me an $11 DoorDash credit. I don't plan on using DoorDash anymore! Their refund policy sucks! I'll never use the $11 credit!!! I lost food and money between Copeland's and DoorDash! If you want Copeland's, go eat in, or pick up yourself! Do NOT order Copeland's through a food delivery app!!! DoorDash's refund policy sucks, but I wouldn't have had to learn that, if Copeland's wouldn't have messed up my order so badly! They completely forgot my Coke, put NO shrimp in my shrimp fettuccine - and it was ice cold!, and they didn't put the strawberry topping on my cheesecake!!! Do NOT trust this Copeland's with food app orders!!! You'll be sorry!!! And if you don't take that advice, then don't use DoorDash. Try your luck with a better food delivery app!!! I'll never use DoorDash anymore, and I'll never order from this Copeland's again - not even to pick it up myself!!! Take my advice....
Edit: I reached out to customer service regarding their reply to this review. Granted, my reaching out was a little late - but still relevant... I got an automated reply saying that they would get back to me. It's been about 2 weeks and I've heard nothing!!! Great job...
Read moreService was fine, but the entrees took over an hour and a half to come out. Had it not been for our soups and appetizer coming out in time, we probably would have left, but being that we had that, it held us over. The prices have gone up, but the amount of food you get on your plate, has significantly gone down.
The BBQ shrimp appetizer was filled half-way in the bowl, not even reaching that first line mark. It was very skimpy with a few shrimp, and 5 pieces of bread, (which isn't nearly enough to sop up the sauce). So in order to eat what was in the bowl, you had to order extra bread for additional 2.99, which brings that appetizer up in price to about 17.00 or more.
It was good, but overpriced for the reduced amount that is now being served. The soup was fine and fairly portioned, but the entrées was very disappointing. That's probably the longest we've ever had to wait for an entrée to come out.
I ordered the Steak Laboucherie, which literally had 4 very small and thinly cut pieces of meat. It was more like roast, but not even enough to serve as a roast entrée, as the pieces were about the size of my finger. I should have snapped a photo of it, but didn't think about that until now. It was swimming in a plate saturated in a thick brown gravy with a little nest of angel hair pasta. I guess the gravy was a way to try and conceal the lack of meat that was on the plate.
Anyway.... I ate it, but had it not been for the appetizer we all shared and the soup, I would have left hungry. For 20 bucks, you'd expect to at least have an adequate amount of meat on the plate you ordered.
My husband had the Garden Chicken, and it too, was very skimpy. Considering the price increase, one would expect that you would still get the same amount of food, but that was not the case
The dessert was good, and our server kept our glasses full. Apparently the kitchen was very behind, which was strange, being that the restaurant wasn't...
