I’ve already canceled this order #047G559083 at noon today with Mr.Trent but I thought you might want to see the photo I personally took before I made the purchase back on 5/29/25 After receiving a text message today that the delivery of my order would have to be rescheduled due to incomplete paperwork I called and spoke to Abriana who told me when the delivery guys went to pickup it was damaged…, it really didn’t surprise me, I could see Ms Taylor damaging something I would have paid for because of her angered temper towards me. You sales person Taylor who got upset with me on 5/29/25 for asking to speak to the manager may have been the person to damage the item. She displayed anger 😡 towards me because I reported her to the manager for lack of interest in helping me get the dimensions of the bed. Ms. Taylor was sitting comfortably on a nearby bed while trying to text whoever she was texting and I got tired of trying to get her to assist me. As I approached Mr. Michael Melancon the manager she got hostel and I was afraid she would try and hurt me after telling Mr. Michael “YOU DEAL WITH HER” speaking of me. I was shocked that the mangers didn’t ask her to walk away, they could’ve talked to her after I left. Michael Melancon did come to assist me in purchasing the items and he and I both examined the bed and as he was pointing out the night stand imperfections I told him Ms Taylor never told me it was included in the cost, she was busy on her phone and I had a bad feeling that by the time I was to get my purchase she would have damaged it. And here we are, this night stand was intact the photo Mr. Trent showed me today had a large 3 way crack in the back of it , who did it? As you can see when I took the photo of the back of it , it was fine. Now as I sit here typing this message I just receive a text message saying the drivers are 15:minutes away from my home and Mr. Trent assured me he would have my funds refunded to me once he get the manifest back. I will never shop Ashley again and will discourage anyone else from doing so, totally unacceptable even when my husband and I came back to speak to a manager Mr. Trent Sat as well as Ms Taylor as we were talking to Mr. Trent Ms Taylor was on her phone yelling to another co- worker across the room “my Moma says she’s gonna have the candy for you”, yes she was sitting side by side with the manager Trent who was talking to us about the problem and he didn’t seem like that was a problem in the middle of conducting a transaction with a customer…unbelievable, never ever again will I not read the room better before purchasing from any business all of the signs were there not to by anything. By the way, this is the Harrhan store in Jefferson, LA

We worked with Dominique who told us our items were "in the warehouse" so we could schedule delivery right away (had they not been available, I would not have proceeded with the purchase as similar to Adrian, our family was moving from out of state). Not only were they not available in the warehouse, delivery dates kept getting pushed back. When they finally delivered 2/3rds of our order, they left one bedroom set fully disassembled and told us they could not install hardware on the dresser as it was "outside of their scope of work" (we paid for white glove delivery and Ashley refuses to reimburse us). It's been three a month, and our bed set STILL looks like this. This is the photo that the furniture delivery team shared back with Ashley Furniture noting that the pieces didn't fit (slats were too short and the middle support beam was too high). You can also see they the side table with no hardware. I've reached out 8 times, I've been passed back and forth from multiple agents with no resolution. My case was "escalated" over a week ago with no follow up. They sent me one email confirming my case was escalated (I requested the email as written proof of what was happening on their end) and now they won't respond to my follow up emails. Ashley, if you're reading this, a call back would be great. A fixed bed, even better. A refund, expected at this point. BUYER BEWARE. I will never shop at Ashley Furniture ever again. *I also understand mistakes happen, but it's how a company chooses to handle those mishaps that makes the difference. This was the most unprofessional, sad experience.

Ashley should be ashamed of themselves for selling the absolutely fraudulent worthless furniture warranties from ProtectAll/GBS. I paid $189.99 for a 5-year warranty on my father's recliner and have tried for over a month to get this scam warranty company to fix the lift motor on the chair that stopped working through no fault of ours. My father has heart failure and dementia and is elderly and frail. He loves to spend most of his time in his chair, and because of his dementia keeps asking over and over why it won't lift. He is supposed to elevate his legs and can't due to the broken chair and failure of GBS/ProtectAll to fulfill their obligations as a warranty company. See how swollen his legs are in the picture!!!!!!!! That's because his chair is broken and your warranty is useless!!!! I do not even have the energy to write out every instance of calling this SCAM company trying to get them to fix the chair, but I've been met with lie after lie and excuse after excuse from them. Shame on all of you involved for wasting my father's money and negatively impacting his health with your GREED and INCOMPETENCE! And the company Schatzman Repair that came out and said they ordered a part will not respond to me either. I finally ordered the part myself because the warranty company is so useless and claimed it would take weeks to get the part IF it's available, but can't get Schatzman to come put it on now. I will NEVER purchase anything from Ashley again, not to mention GBS/ProtectAll, and be warned that Schatzman Repair is unethical too for being a part of this WARRANTY SCAM! THEY ALL NEED TO BE HIT WITH A CLASS ACTION!!!

Picked out a sectional sofa with oversized ottoman at the Ashley furniture store in Harahan. After visiting the store three times I decided to make a purchase. First time I went into the store to look at their furniture, Yolanda approached me. Second time a different salesman Jamie approached me to ask if I needed any help. I looked around but didn’t purchase anything until the third time I went in. The salesman who approached me that day was George who insisted he was the first person to approach me & I was his customer. My experience with George initially was acceptable until we had completed the sale. Toward the end of the transaction when I asked him what if the sectional sofa & ottoman didn’t fit my room, he proceeded to tell me (I’m quoting him now) no problem you can exchange it & then gave me his personal cell number in case that happened. I learned recently that Ashley furniture has a no return policy & I needed to reject the item at the time it was delivered before the delivery guys left my house, And that trying to return it later was against their policy. I tried to call George directly within an hour of my delivery but got no answer. I then immediately called the Harahan store, but no answer. The call went through to customer service. I spoke to Sharonda. She informed me that I could exchange the ottoman for another item of equal or greater value but I’d have to go back to the store to choose a replacement item. That was acceptable to me. I have been back to the Harahan store 3 times or more & each time the story has changed. I was turned over to the assistant manager Michael. He sent an email to the Dufresne Spenser Group on my behalf. I got a phone call the next day from them. They issued a store credit by email & told me to go back to the store to pick out a replacement item. The next day I returned to the store to pick out a replacement item, which I had decided on an area rug that was the same price as the ottoman I wanted them to exchange. I was told that a new delivery had to be scheduled. At the time of that delivery they would bring the rug & take ottoman back. The next day in the store with George the area rug I had chosen was no longer available & George wanted to fold the floor sample rug up & put it in my car (8x10 rug would not have fit in my small car). When I requested that he move the display furniture off the floor sample rug so that I could see the rug to make sure it had no dirt or stains, he was very reluctant to do so. His attitude toward me became rude & obnoxious to the point of him handing me a main number for customer service, then he asked me to leave the store now & suggested I don’t come back. He said I should call the number & ask them to write up an exchange order. I left & called the number. The customer service rep told me that they didn’t have any exchange order & the store had to initiate the exchange order. I’m being told by each respective party that an exchange order is needed & each side tells me that the other side is responsible for initiating it. I regret ever having shopped at Ashley furniture store because I’ve gotten the runaround by George the most unprofessional salesman I’ve ever encountered. Do not shop...

I purchased a mattress and base. The wrong base was delivered. I immediately called the store after delivery and was told that was what I ordered and could not return it. The mattress had a 90 day sleep comfort exchange. I went in to exchange it. I kept being put off for the exchange then was told it was over looked by someone in customer service. When delivered the name brand was correct so I signed for it. The new one was supposed to a 4,000 temprapetic mattress. My statement never reflected the upgrade from the 2,000 I was charged for the original purchase. I called the store and was told it was a 2,000 dollar mattress. I told them that I ordered a more expensive one and was told it could only be exchanged once. I understand that is the policy but when the wrong is delivered which was their fault and I want to pay more for what I picked out it should be honored. Now I have a mattress and base that I didn't order charged to my account and was told there is nothing they can do.After telling me over and over this would be resolved I am told nothing can be done and my calls are ignored. Ashley has terrible customer service. I have purchased many mant things from them in the past and will not purchase from them anymore. I am beyond upset about the way I have been treated and encourage anyone to shop elsewhere before purchasing from Ashley Furniture. I recently received a response from Ashely furniture stating that they apologize for the mix up on my order and for the customer service I received. They said my complaint is valid and they want to help just like is stated in other bad reviews. I was asked to call or text them so I did. I spoke to Lindsay and my ticket number is 174364. She was very very nice and concerned just like the numerous people I have already spoke to. Just like the others also spoke to she understood and was going to help. I was asked to call back in a couple of days. I did that and again was told I could get no help that it was too long. I tried to explain once again thatit was reported sooner but I have just been put off over and over again and of course time goes by but she didn't want to hear it and tried to argue with me. The responses to the reviews make it sound like they truly want to help so readers think they resolve problems but once again they do not. You know very well they are able to help but choose not to. Financing is not thru Ashley so after you sign for it you are hooked. They get paid and the finance company wants their money. It is horrible how I was treated especially by the manager BRIAN in Ponchatoula. He knew he wasn't going to help me but just kept promising me everything was going to be ok. AGAIN I URGE ANYONE PURCHASING FURNITURE PLEASE DO YOUR HOMEWORK. CHECK OTHER STORES BEFORE ASHLEY. I WOULD NOT LIKE ANYONE ELSE TO HAVE A $4,000.00 BILL LIKE I HAVE TO PAY FOR THINGS I DID NOT ORDER AND ASHLEY AGAIN ASHLEY FURNITURE HAS THEIR MONEY AND THE HELL WITH THEIR CUSTOMERS. I would not recommend anyone to buy any furniture from Ashley furniture store. We bought a sectional sofa as well as a split king Tempur-pedic bed system from Ashley furniture in Harahan in November 2024. It was delivered in December. The delivery was chaos and it was delivered to a new construction site. The delivery team caused such a problem with construction workers trying to get into the house that my contractor asked that they just leave the sofa wrapped, and the delivery team did not assemble the sofa. We unwrapped the sofa about a week later to discover that we were given two corner pieces of a sectional sofa, instead of a corner piece and an end. I promply reached out to Ashley customer service, sent pictures and was assured that an even exchange would be made, and it was scheduled. I received no further communication until the day before delivery to tell me that the piece was no longer in stock and delivery would have to be rescheduled for the following month. I verified at this time that the piece was in stock for that rescheduled delivery date and was told yes and that it was on the truck and I would get a confirmation of delivery time 24 hours ahead of time. I got a delivery confirmation that showed delivery would occur between 12 and three and confirmed the automated system that this was correct and did get a confirmation response. We waited all day at the house for the delivery to never show up. When I called Ashley customer service again. I was told that we did not confirm delivery even though I had proof of text messaging and sent that to customer service and we had been removed from the route with no further communication. I was assured that we were scheduled again for today, January 25, 2025. My husband and I are currently out of town so paid someone to sit at our house for our delivery time of 9 AM. It is now three hours later and there has been no delivery. After checking into our hotel, I called Ashley customer service again to be told that we were never scheduled for delivery again today. This is completely unacceptable. I have also Inquired about them taking the entire sofa back as at this point we have been living with half of the sofa and I no longer want the sofa. I am constantly told because it was accepted that it cannot be returned, even though we were not issued a complete delivery. We have scheduled one more time for February 7, 2025 because we have no other choice. If this furniture does not come at this time, we will be consulting legal action to get reimbursed for the sofa and contacting the Better Business Bureau. If someone from Ashley furniture store in Harahan would like to reach out to me, They are more than welcome, but since there is no direct line to contact the store, you can’t actually talk to someone to...
