Isabella's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Louisiana

We use to love Isabella's, but it has just went downhill lately. Went last week to give another try and place was empty, but yet service was slow. Felt bad to complain because the young man serving us seemed alittle special. Messed up few times on order, forgot dipping sauce we asked for, didnt get refills on drinks, didn't know menu well and forgot our order of chicken alfredo. We finally got it after awhile, but had large pockets of grease or butter and did not taste good or appear presentable for alfredo. We all finished eating, so told him to take off bill as we cant wait even longer. When bill came, he still charged us for it, so had to get corrected. And biggest complaint is the large pizza for $14 is not a large and looks like medium pizza. They do offer an extra large for more money, which is still just a large, not extra large as they claim. Guess it is a marketing thing to have most people think to order a large for $14 sounds reasonable. Sadly we love taste of pizza, but with great options in area like Theo's, Domino's, Coscino's, McClain's, Reginelli's and more, not worth this service and...

The absolute worst service!!! From the moment I walked in to the restaurant I noticed the dirty tables all around me, I proceeded to the bar area where one of the servers was giving me his back as he was doing something on the register, considering that he was busy I waited so he would acknowledge that I was standing there waiting, seeing that he was not going to turn around I decided to get his attention by asking if I can just sit anywhere and in a very unfriendly tone he said “yeah” so I grabbed my 2 yr old daughter and walked us to the booth…. ( it was her idea to eat pizza btw) So we sat, and we waited and waited oh and did I mentioned that we waited. Mind you, by now there was another lady waiting tables and she too decided not to acknowledge we were waiting. Needless to say, I picked up my daughter and went to go have a very delicious pizza at Theo’s where we were greeted by a friendly staff.

If the owner happens to read this, my advice to you is to please start training your staff to make customers feel welcome as soon as he put foot...

DO NOT GO TO ISABELLAS PIZZERIA, and if you go BE CAREFUL, DO NOT PAY WITH CREDIT CARD. They charge what they want, I have the ticket here in front of me, it was $32.45, I decided to leave the tip 10% that is $ 3.25 giving a total of $ 35.70 BUT IN MY BANK STATEMENT THEY CHARGED $ 41.45 THIS IS A THEFT!!!!!

I am going to call my bank and show the receipt so they fight this. I am very angry.

Probably they do this with passing customers that are not from the same town as they think the customer is not going to go back to tell them, but my bank is going to fight this!!!!

It was on Covington, Luisiana, gps 30.4537497,-90.1354619 at 70452 Hwy 21 Suite 500 is what the ticket said 8/22/2021is the date Ord#17at 12.31pm instead of charging me 35.70 they charged 41.45

The bank already gave me back the difference, no need to send me the money. And I gave a tip...
