I'm giving this restaurant is 5 stars for many reasons one reason in particular is you cannot judge a book by its cover on the outside with the large Windows nestled in the middle of a strip mall you expect it to be like your average everyday Asian restaurant you walk in White Walls everywhere a counter and just some regular chairs and tables but on the contrary Once you walk into this restaurant the whole world changes its decor is amazing for place as small as it is.... it really gives you the Asian feel from the wooden backdrops to the statues and wooden pillars in the back of your the sushi counter or if you will sushi bar.... They have an assortment of drinks if you enjoy a drink with your meals also especially the Sake it my favorite . Another one of the reasons I decided to give this restaurant five stars it's basically and to the point the service is excellent and they waste absolutely no time. I walked in the door ordered an appetizer ordered my meal ordered my drink within the first 5 minutes I had my drink and the beginning portions of my actual meal, appetizer came out second probably 7 minutes later, and in four minutes after that I received my main meal I have to say I was very impressed. This restaurant deserves 10 Stars if I could give it. From the bartender to the waitress and even the owner I was very impressed and you definitely won't have to order a lot of food here your main meal comes with a salad a small noodle bowl and a nice size cup of miso soup. Between all of that my appetizer and my bottle of cold Sake 🍶 I was stuffed before my main course arrived. The prices are also rather decent for a sushi restaurant so all-in-all I recommend this to anyone who...

I ordered the Unforgettable Roll which is rather pricey, but I wanted a crunchy roll with soft shelled crab and tempura shrimp. What I received was a large roll that appeared to be mostly snow crab which is not listed as being in that roll. I immediately sent it back and refused to have it remade without snow crab…like what were they actually going to put in it? The restaurant deceptively made it with snow crab instead of soft shelled crab without informing me of the substitution. Did they think that I wouldn’t notice this and say nothing? Were they going to charge me the full $16.95 for a cheaper substitution? This was only my second time dining there. I will not go back. If they are trying to deceive and over charge customers, how do I know that it is clean and that the food is safe to eat? Buyer beware of what you are actually purchasing. I will...

I was skeptical at first when I came across this sushi spot on Google because of the location. It is located in a strip mall right off of Citrus. This place is a hidden gem. Our server Diaz was awesome. He provided us with sushi recommendations and was attentive and friendly. We ordered the Shrimp Crab Rangoon and it did not disappoint. It was phenomenal.

I decided to try the Yellowtail neck which is listed as an appetizer but can be considered a meal and the fish was delicious. The unforgettable roll was pretty unforgettable it is a massive sushi roll. We decided to end our meal with Mochi. The plum wine- tasted like bubblegum and the chocolate mochi was amazing. Counting down the days until I head back...

Impeccable service, but very average sushi! It’s not a bad thing, so Kyoto may still be worth giving a try. I had the Funky Margarita Roll and it was average…there really isn’t much more to say. From reading the description, I expected a flavor explosion but the guacamole on top felt and tasted weird in my mouth. The other guest had the Beef Teriyaki. It was cooked fine (as far as texture and execution) but needed more seasoning overall. I’m glad that I finally got to try Kyoto 2 but don’t think I’ll be returning.

Went for lunch and was thrilled with how much food we got for the price. $11 per entree. The sushi rolls had a healthy amount of fish, more than I am used to. Chicken and omelette had a good flavor to it. In addition to the soup and salad that came with lunch, we were served a cold noodle salad upon being seated. Staff was really nice. Place was busy but not overly so.
