This was my last visit. I don't shop at places that don't program their sales into their register/system. I had to watch every item as it was ring up by hand and haggle for every last advertised discount. This infuriated my cashier. I got nothing but attitude on both of my visits for corrections on sale prices. When I got home 3 of the 21 itmes I purchased were rung up at full price. I couldn't keep up with watching every item. I also got an attitude for wanting pricey glass pieces wrapped up in the paper provided. I was made to feel like I was a bother for not wanting my glass items to be stacked in a plastic bag. The majority of the decorative pieces are overpriced to begin with, I shouldn't have to hound the staff for the advertised sales. Today at Elmwood location one of the team members there answered some questions I had as I was looking at something on sale. She knew I was going to need some assistance based on the fact I told her I was going to clear the shelves of these items so she left to come back with a cart for me. Big deal?... not necessarily in and of itself as old fashioned professional courtesy and customer service should simply be expected. But these days it has gone to sh_t over the years with a youth nowadays that doesn't know how to work, much less get out of their mommy and daddy's garage. Read moreI had a full basket of items, but when I got to checkout, I found out they didn’t accept Apple Pay, which was the only form of payment I had on me. A staff member offered to hold my items until the end of the day, so I could come back with another form of payment. I appreciated that and returned about two hours later.
However, when I came back, the employees I spoke with acted like they had no idea what I was talking about. They made no effort to locate my basket or look into the situation at all. I was completely dismissed. To make it worse, a few of the items I had picked were the last ones on the shelf, and I couldn’t find replacements.
