My daughter and son went there for lunch and brought me food, and they said their meals were amazing. They ordered the chicken pho, and my daughter got a mango drink. I ordered the chicken and rice since I couldn’t join them due to a recent surgery. My kids said the staff was very nice and attentive. I also ordered the spring pork rolls, but I was not impressed. The rice sheets were very sticky and got stuck to the other roll. When I tried to separate them, the roll just fell apart. Their peanut sauce was very tasty, though. I was expecting the meal to look like the photo in the reviews. While the sauce on the wings was very tasty, the wings themselves were undercooked they weren’t crispy, and one of the wings was bloody in the middle. Additionally, the heat from the rice and wings caused the salad to wilt, making it unenjoyable. They should place the salad and dressing in a separate container.

I visited Pho Bistreaux to order dine-in and was in shock at the amount of tables that were not cleared. Maybe short-staffed, but I arrived about 2 hours after lunch. Definitely need to pay more for employees if this is what short-staffing looks like. Back to the food. I ate at the bar since it wasn’t surrounded with past-due plate retrieval. The server was engaged and welcoming. She allowed me to try a complimentary sample of one of their sliders after I inquired. The slider was ok. It would have been better if the flat bread was warmed and with a little more sauce. The combination beef pho had an excellent broth. The meatballs were really bad and had this low-quality bagged taste. I couldn’t eat them after two. The bowl and plate seemed to have not been cleaned too well. I can’t recommend this Pho Bistreaux and am unsure if I’m willing to visit again.

I ordered by UberEats because the reviews said PhoBistreaux was good at packing the food. I guess they didn’t bother when packing my food because it took zero effort for me to untie the knot in the bag it came in. I could only hope that my food wasn’t tampered with. I ordered the pork spring roll and it was awful. I’ve had it before, so not sure what happened. The outer covering was tough and I couldn’t chew it at all. The vermicelli inside was lumped together in spots. It was also cold. I ended up throwing them in the trash…wonder if they’re pre-made or something? I also had the Vietnamese Grilled Beef Poboy. It tasted okay but I remember it tasting so much better in the past. Needless to say, I am totally done with this place.

!!!!! RAW FOOD NOT COOL GUYS! !!!!!!I’m not sure how they do it inside the building but they don’t advertise that you’ll be cooking the meal yourself . Last night I order for Delivery a sirloin and noodle dish, I received . A box with raw red dripping luke warm meat. Cross contaminating literally over every other piece of food. My disappointment , the frustration is through the roof. I am so angry I spent money for you to deliver me raw meat which isn’t what I paid for or advertised at all. NOT COOL, pretty sure the dumplings were also raw and very undercooked. I will never spend a dollar here and im telling everyone to run fast and never come here .

Because!!! Holy hill midget! What culinary school would allow this?! Why I spent 50$ on an unprepared meal. I could of ordered from the grocery store for less.

Think you wanna order from here?!? Have another think. Your money is better spent else where .

Lastly what they hell is going on here. I’m looking at other reviews and realize I’m not the only one it’s to common to be served undercooked food in your establishment, shut this down please stop robbing people...

Food was alright but the thing about Vietnamese food in this city is that there are too many better options to consider this remotely top 5 Vietnamese restaurants in Metairie. For starters when I got my food it was ice cold; I saw it on the counter when I was there out in the open just getting colder and colder. I’m not sure if they don’t have a hot plate, but the quality rapidly declined as it got colder. One big problem was that the proteins were all overcooked; my shrimp was chewy and my chicken was so dry I could barely force it down. Furthermore,y Pho was in a terrible box where the noodles were stuck together because they too got dried out and cold. You can find MUCH better options at Pho Michael, Pho Nola, Bahn mi Boys, or even Pho Bang but anything other than here. Don’t waste your time, money, or appetite on a place that doesn’t really have the quality to compete with the other incredible Vietnamese restaurants...

I am Vietnamese, and spicy beef noodle soup (bu bo hue) is my favorite vietnamese dish. I have never been more disappointed in spicy beef noodle soup in all my life. (I've eaten a lot of bun bo hue.) It was just WRONG. From the moment I opened the togo container, I could smell the sourness. It was tomatoey, which is NOT right for this dish. The meat was also very fatty and smelled on the verge of going bad. Sour meat + sour soup= ew.

My husband's favorite dish is grilled pork vermicelli. He said is was okay. A lot of pieces were straight up burnt, not nicely charred, which kind of ruined it for him.

I also ordered spicy lemongrass tofu. It was also subpar. The "spicy" part was just sriracha sauce, which ruins the outside texture of the tofu. They should've used thai chili (bird's eye chili) mixed in with the lemongrass. Also, it was under seasoned.

They only got a star for...
