UPDATE DOWN BELOW
Horrified. I don't know the gentleman's name working in drive through last night but I'm extremely disgusted he messed with my food. I can not for the love of God figure out what he did to it. At first I thought it was spoiled but it so off he had to have done more to it. Luckily it was on 2 sips. He has long hair that's lightened, slim build, and tan or olive skin. I didn't realize it until I stopped to get gas and take a sip. I didn't feel comfortable going back to have him remake it so instead I have frozen it as proof (and to show i didn't drink it) to bring back in tomorrow morning and talk to an employee. There is also another guy to be wary of. He's short, heavy set, tan or light brown with black hair that's on the short side but long enough to reach top of his ears. They both work night. I'm not sure what race or ethnicity they both are. Both are g@y if that helps anyone identify them. Food is extremely intimate and to have somebody tamper with it floors me. I'm not sure if this is a franchise or not but If it is I know I wouldn't want someone doing that at my establishment and what that could lead to. I'll update after tomorrow but if I forget to update please forgive me.
UPDATE So I came in today Jul 23 at about 11:15. The manager was not in but I spoke to the Supervisor. Both the Google listing as well as the app has the hours of business. The Asian guy w/long colored (blonde pieces) hair Supervisor told/lied to me and said that I was wrong and that the hours on the app and the Google listing was wrong.( I sent my order in through the app when I ordered yesterday.) I saw ppl sitting inside Starbucks when I pulled up yesterday evening and some outside. I've even be to that location at a later time at the time and they've been open during the business hours posted online. He is clearly covering for his lil friend. Why go out your way to lie like that? I refused him remaking the drink and just asked for a refund. I felt uncomfortable and he was...
Read moreReally friendly folks at this location! My only complaint is that they are frequently out of some of my favorite lunch and snack items. There's only so much I can eat with my plant-based dietary preferences, so when I find places that have foods I can eat - I really need them to be in stock!
I order in the app and then drive all the way there (less than a mile but easily a 20-40 minute errand pending time of day) only for them to be out of whatever it is without a viable replacement. For example, there are only 2 veggie sandwiches with spinach, and the one that tastes good is usually the one that's out!
Sometimes I just want a particular flavor of chips or a particular bakery item or a particular sandwich that I can only get at Starbucks. If I'm just running in for a snack and not also getting coffee, I'm not trying to wait in line only to leave empty handed! And I'm certainly not trying to sit in line at the Drive-Thru only to have to ask for money back!
The whole point of going to Starbucks instead of supporting a local cafe is convenience and consistency! Please get your inventory together!!
The good thing about this location, though - and the reason I continue to patronize them, is that I can get my custom half-decaf white mocha with almond milk and then just go across the street to Zoe's for lunch. Takes a little longer but the food is fresher and I can plan for two trips in advance - you know, now that I know I can't count Starbucks for anything but coffee.
If it were possible to customize syrups and caffeine at the local coffee place in walking distance to where I live, I would never be disappointed by this conglomerate again.
Alas, my ridiculous customizations are prepared correctly every time and taste exactly the same every time, so Starbucks will keep me as a customer for now.
I guess the lesson here is that it really is too much to ask for both the food AND the coffee to be amazing. It's a coffee shop - not a cafe,...
Read moreThis is by far THE WORST Starbucks in the area. Iâve thoughtfully considered writing this review for over a week now and come to the conclusion that it was not me being sensitive or petty, the employees of this establishment are truly UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE. On June 12th 2019 I pulled into the parking lot that houses roughly 9 non handicapped spots. I mobile ordered prior to arriving and my App states prep time was 3-7 minutes. I arrived 6 minutes later to retrieve my 3 drinks and two baked goods, totaling $30. I drive a very large truck and there were no spots for me to park, so so pulled as closely as possible to the sidewalk, not in a spot, however leaving AMPLE space for people to move in and out. I waited 21 minutes on top of the 6 minutes of prep time. After 21 minutes the Ill-mannered, tasteless, blue haired barista comes around the bar yelling âif you donât move the white truck i will have it towedâ never giving any previous warning just yelling right out the gate for no reason. As I walked to my truck to move it the blue haired barista who I cannot emphasize enough the unprofessionalism of followed me screaming sarcastically to âhave a nice dayâ . After moving my truck I came back in to find the entitled âcoffee makingâ and I put this in quotes because she spent the duration of my 30 minutes there going off at the mouth instead of helping her co workers make drinks, blue haired barista talking badly of me to fellow customers.. Iâve never worked in the coffee business before but I feel quite confident in saying that bad mouthing a customer probably isnât good for business. The thing about Starbucks is that your supposed to be treated fairly and with kindness, letâs face it I can get a coffee anywhere and for a lot less then $7. I am truly saddened and disappointed in my treatment as a paying customer. I hope to return one day To a staff with better manners instead of these...
