Update: ...
Seeing a new place to eat is always a great joy for me. I simply just had to check Carali's out. I wasn't disappointed, either. I loved the sweet potato fries, and their sauces. The french fries were a little better than average, but don't let them get cold. We had the pulled rotisserie chicken sandwich with the yuca fries, not to be confused with the yucca (a non edible spiky plant). The yuca fries were okay, not really a hit with me, they tasted of a weak flavor of potato with a slight sweetness to them reminiscent of a sweet potato. My sandwich was not at all worth the price, being rather small and almost no chicken on it. The chicken that was on it tasted like it was a day or two old, like left over turkey. Now, granted, I didn't enjoy this meal, but it was a quick bite to eat. I plan on going back and getting the fresh rotisserie chicken meal with other sides. I firmly believe that it will be better. I just won't be getting either of the sandwiches again. As always, I will update my review, if and when I go back. Don't lets this review stop you or change your opinion on Carali's, because this was a quick...
Read moreBest rotisserie chicken in town. So tierd of the same ol fried chicken and burgers that make uo American cuisine. Wanted something different that was not going to clog my arteries by looking at it. So I found Carali's Rotisserie Chicken. The young lady that took my order was very friendly and enthusiastic. She explained the menu to me and made some suggestions that best fit my dietary needs. The chicken was absolutely outstanding! Full of flavor in every bite and not greasy. The empenadas are some of the best I've ever had and the stuffed avocado is a "must try!" I think the prices are very reasonable for organic freshly made food. I've spend more trying to feed my family at McDonald's and we're usually still hungry afterwards and feel guilty for putting that garbage in our bodies. Carali's is a refreshingly different kind of restaurant and I am absolutely greatful they came...
Read moreLove carali's. despise this location. in the general area, went 5 miles out of my way. cashier inattentive, ill-trained. gave order twice. gave order again with coworker supervising. went to pay. noticed a "3.5% fee added for credit cards". uh no, canceled. first time i went, about 3 weeks ago, i had to wait in line while the cashier handled an issue from the laundromat next door. wait, so they are run by the restaurant? so is it a laundromat or restaurant? anyway, i won't be screwed by some restaurant trying to rob me because they think they can. btw, i always tip at carali's for no reason, so its not the 50 cents, its the principle. in that spirit when i was close to their baxter ave location the same day i stopped and had a delicious lunch-but never again at the New...
