0 stars if I could. My special needs child asked to eat at chili's for his birthday. He is basically nonverbal so for him to ask for anything was a huge deal to us. It's the only thing he asked for. We invited grandparents to go with us so in all we had a party of 8. Husband signed us in at the hostess station, told them we had8 people, 4 adults and 4 kids. Hostess told us the wait would be 45 minutes. Gave them our cell number to receive a text when our table was ready. And we went outside to wait. We finally got the text our table was ready and went in. Hostess asked how many kids menus we needed, we told him 4. He took us to a table in the back corner with only 4 chairs and sets down one kids menu at each of the 4 chairs. We were a bit confused, as we needed 4 more chairs and a bigger table. We just stood there as it was enough seats for our party of 8. The table next to ours was empty. Husband asked if we could put the 2 tables together. Hostess said no. Hostess then says wait how many are in your party. We told him again 8 people, 4 adults and 4 kids. Hostess says I thought you were a party of 4. Husband told him that's your fault we told you 3 times we had 8 people total, shouldn't you have caught that when I said I needed 4 kids menus. Hostess says well I can't sit you yet. Husband asked to speak to a manager. Hostess walked away. Manager never came. Hostess then came back and tells us we were going to have to go back out and wait for a bigger table. It would probably be another 45 minute wait after we had already waited 45 minutes and then stood at a table for a good 10 minutes. We ended up leaving and going somewhere else to eat. My kid was so disappointed. We Never saw the manager and didn't even get an apology for their screw up. Will never be back to this...
Read moreMe and my mother ate lunch and got the 2 for 25 we got their chips and salsa and Guacamole and we both got chicken fajitas. When we got our food it was almost like they barely cooked the chicken it looked white and peppers and onions were still very crunchy and beans and rice were also not very warm at all. But we were hungry went ahead and ate. Only thing we had ate that day. A couple hours later both of us started feeling very sick, I developed a fever and chills my mom said her stomach was in knots and she had a terrible migraine. We both had upset stomachs in and out of the rest room the entire day and up all night getting no rest having to use the restroom with very liquidy stool. I contacted the Chili’s Preston Hwy (Hillview,KY) location the manager told me she was sorry and said someone else was going to contact me no one has contacted me. It just makes me upset the fact we know it was from their food it was the only thing we ate the entire day and I ate more than my mom and I felt worse which makes perfect sense. I just called them mainly to let them know of the situation I didn’t want anyone else having food poisoning it’s horrible. My mother and I’s stomachs are still sore 2 days later. Just makes me upset no one called us back like they said they would. I was just going to tell them what happened and to reassure to be more careful with washing hands in the kitchen and making sure their food is above a certain temperature and checking expirations. I’ve had to miss work because of this. Very...
Read moreI have given this location, great reviews in the past. But our experience just now, has changed my opinion, drastically. We were seated moments before 4 Ladies. We had exchanged pleasantries while waiting to be seated. The restaurant had only 1 table seated, but had to clean tables to seat both my wife n I, and these Ladies. The Ladies ordered bottled beer and asked for them not to be opened, that they preferred to open them, once they were at the table. The waitress placed their order along with their request for the bartender not to open them. After watching the bartender finish the cleaning that he was doing, he proceeded to get the beers out and started opening them, bare handed, without washing his hands, the Ladies asked that they not be served those bottles in which he had touched with his bare hands. He got so rude with the Ladies, they got up and left. In this time of Covid-19, mask and social distancing is it too much to ask for no one to touch the bottle that is about to be placed to their mouths? To add to the situation, the manager tried to defend the bartender's action and rudeness. I'm glad that Chili's is doing so well that they rather lose 2 tables over something as simple as don't put your unwashed hands where someone is going to be putting their mouth. And the total lack of respect shown to these older Ladies by the bartender and manager has the wife and I looking for a new...
